Switched (Louis Tomlinson and Jade Thirlwall)

Chapter twelve

Louis' POV


"Hello girls. Sit down. It's so nice to see you again." A man with dark gray hair and thick black glasses says to us.


I sit down of the sofa next to Jesy.


"Now girls, we have quite a few things to work on today so no dawdling. Here is our schedule:


1. Vocal exercises, like always.


2. Working on the album


3. Working on the DNA music video"


"One direction is working on a music video to!" I shriek all of a sudden. Everyone stares at me. I clasp my hands to my mouth. "Sorry, didn't mean to say that."


"I thought you didn't like One Direction?" Perrie says, confused.


"Oh, ya. I don't."


Perrrie rolls her eyes and turns to the guy with the glasses again. "So we should go and get ready now?" she asks him.


"Yup."


Everyone stands up so I stand up to.


We walk through the door into a small dressing room.


"Who's first?" a woman with quite curly hair asks. That must be their make-up artist.


We all step back.


She raises an eyebrow.


"I like being dressed before I put on my clothes! otherwise I get it all smudged!" Perrie protests.


"Same!" Leigh-Anne and Jesy agree.


"Fine. Jade, your up."


"Wait, what? Up?"


"Make-up. You need to look good for the video so we're going to be doing more than usual."


WHAT? I could barley live with the make-up they put on us! I think it's ridiculous they put make-up on us anyways. I will die with all of Jade's make-up on!


I reluctantly climb onto the stool and she starts applying something tan and wet.


"What's that?" I ask her.


"Concealer. You know that."


Oh yeah, sure.


After she finish the concealer or whatever, she starts putting on something light brown and cold.


"And this is?"


"Foundation. Come on Jade! You know this stuff!"


I sigh and let her finish.


After foundation comes what I think is bronzer and then some powdery stuff.


When she is finally done with my face, she moves onto my eyes.


"Now, open your eyes and look up. It's time for the eyeliner."


Oh shiz. I suck with sharp things near my eyes, especially almost inside them! I do my best and, after a lot of yelling at me, it finally gets on fine.


"What is wrong with you today Jade? You usually are as still as a statue!"


After she is done with my three different shades of eye shadow and five coats of that sticky mascara, I'm finally done. I stare at myself in the mirror. Oh. My. God. I look like a girl. Well no duh you look like a girl! You are one now! I sigh. I cannot wait to get back inside my own body. What even happened? How did I all of a sudden get into Jade's body and vice versa? It is so confusing.


After I'm done gaping at myself in the mirror, I stumble over to where everyone was changing. Hopefully they will all be done by now. I walk over and glance at them. A very interesting sight greeted me. Jesy was trying to help Leighanne get a hairbrush stuck out of her curls.


"Ow! Jesy that hurts!" Leighanne complains.


"It wouldn't even be in here if you weren't using Perrie's hairbrush!" Jesy retorts.


"I was trying to get back at her for using MY hairbrush!"


"Hey, I didn't get it stuck it my hair! I was just using it as a microphone!" Perrie protests.


"What is going on here?" I ask them, quite confused.


"Leighanne thought it would be funny to get back at Perrie for using her hairbrush but it sort of backfired."


"When did that happen?" I ask still very confused.


"Don't you remember? It was the day before we left." Jesy says.


Ah. So before me and Jade were switched.


"Oh yeah. Now I remember that." I lie to them. "Anyways someone needs to go get their make-up done." I say and Perrie jumps up.


"They're clearly busy so I'll go." she states and walks over to the stool.


I look back at Jesy and Leighanne still struggling and I sigh. This is going to be a long day.

"Jade! How many times do I have to tell you? Your line is: No need to question I ALREADY KNOW not I don't really know!" The director yells at me. I nod and sigh.


I have absolutely sucked today. I don't know any of the pitches or lyrics or the tempo and I'm getting yelled at right and left. Today I was supposed to be working on the Little Things video and I my mind kept drifting over to that.


Was Jade working on that at this very minute?


Was she sucking at it as much as I was sucking at this?


'I hope so.' I think bitterly.


"Ok. I think that we all need a break right now." Perrie says and we all nod in agreement.


"Jade, over here. Now!" she yells at me. I scurry over to her and wait for the worst.


"Jade Amelia Thirlwall. I don't know what has gotten into you, but you need to stop it because this video is going to be released by the end of the week. you need to focus!"


I nod and hang my head as we walk back to the studio.


Like I said before, this is going to be a long day.

Hey guys! I wrote most of this on the computer, but the other half on my phone so sorry about any weird mistakes towards the end.
