Chapter twenty-two

Louis' POV

I don't believe it. No. It can't be true. It's not!

Jade wouldn't do that. I've gotten to know her much better these past few weeks and if I've learned anything, it's that Jade would never hurt anyone. Yes, she loves pulling pranks because people never see it coming, but she never hurts anyone.

Or would she?

I thought I knew her. But then again, I did just a month ago despise her.

I grit my teeth and stare down at my phone. I open my twitter app and scroll through a bunch of follow me follow me follow me's. I sigh and lock my phone back up.

"Jade, you look troubled."

I look and see Perrie and the other girls staring at me.

"Huh?"

"You seem troubled. What's on your mind?" Perrie asks me.

"Oh. Nothing." I say curtly.

"Not true!" Leighanne and Jesy say together. Those two remind me of an article I once read about Siamese twins that knew what each other was going to say before they say it. (*I made this up. I don't read articles about Siamese twins*) They always know what each is thinking.

"No, seriously, it's nothing." I try to say honestly.

"It's about Louis, isn't it?" Perrie presses on.

I snap my head up at her. "Why would you s-say that?" I ask.

"Well it is, isn't it? You two have been making goo-goo eyes at each other for the past two weeks!" Perrie teases. Leighanne and Jesy giggle. I can feel my face turn bright crimson.

"It's not!" I protest.

"It is!" They retort.

"Whatever." I say, finally giving up. They all giggle and go back to their phones.

When we pull up to the hotel, I see a crowd lined up at the door screaming. Oh no. Not fans. I don't feel like it. Not now. Not today.

 I bite my bottom lip and with one quick motion, I open the door and run down the clear space and yank open the hotel door. I step inside and close it shut. I breathe a sigh of relief and wait for the other girls.

When they make it to the door, they wave goodbye to the fans and then turn to me.

"Jade, what the hell was that for? You didn't even say hi to them!" Perrie yells at me.

"Yeah! If it wasn't for the fans, we wouldn't be where we are today! Besides, I bet you anything that some of those girls have been waiting ages to meet us and you just blow right by them! Do you know how upset one of those girls was because she didn't meet you?" Leighanne says harshly to me. My stomach twists in guilt and shamefulness.

"I'm sorry, I just, I, I have to get upstairs. It's been a rough day for me." I say trying not to let the tears spill. Jesus, Louis, you're acting like a girl. 

Jesy nods to me in understanding and I turn around and head to the elevator. I really need some sleep.

I press the number 4 and wait. 

When it dings and the door opens, I walk out and race towards Perrie and I's room. I swipe the card through it and open the door.

Then I collapse onto the bed and burst into tears.

Jade's POV

I know what you're thinking. Why? Why did I say those things? Well honestly, to tell the truth, I have no idea. 

Everything I said to Louis had been a lie. 

So why did I say it? Because he was getting on my nerves? Maybe. Because he needed to be told that? Nah. So why? I sigh and look down at my phone. I open my twitter app and see that 1,305 people have retweeted my tweet. I go down and follow about 50 of them and then close the app. I lock my phone and stare out the window of the car.

Sometimes I just really don't like myself.

I'm really sorry this chapter is so short. But I need to tell you guys some really bad news.

I'm not that obsessed with One Direction anymore. 

Ugh! I can feel all you guys judging me now! I don't know why I'm not anymore, I'm just not. I still love their music and all the boys and their personalities, I'm just not updated on every move they make anymore.  I still love Little Mix so their isn't anything to worry about that, just I'm not in awe of One Direction anymore.

But don't panic! I will finish up all my 1D fanfictions but I'm not starting any new ones. I'm probably going to be writing more book-like stories and short stories. 

Again, I'm really sorry about this chapter and the bad news. Hopefully chapter 23 will be up soon.
