Chapter twenty-four

Jade's POV

"Um, Louis, why are you watching Sleeping Beauty?" Harry asks me looking at me very confused.

"Because I can!" I yell at him. He shakes his head and sets down the DVD case.

"You're weird." I hear Niall say from the kitchen.

"I'm sorry you feel that way." I say to him, turning back to the movie. I'm at my favorite part when Prince Phillip is fighting Maleficent to get to Aurora so he can kiss her and break the sp- At that moment I sit bolt upright. He has to kiss her to break the spell! And it's the same in Snow White! That's what the old woman meant! Oh my god, how could I not have known?

"Are you okay?" Harry asks me. I shake my head.

"I've gotta go." I say jumping up.

"Huh?"

"I- I just have to go. I won't be long." I say. "I hope." I then add under my breath.

Louis' POV

"Jade, you seem troubled." Perrie says to me from her bed. She is sitting cross-legged with a huge bowl of crisps. "You keep pacing."

I just shake my head. "I'm just nervous. You know, for the concert on Saturday."

Yes, I have a concert in 2 days and I haven't been practicing. Why did Jade have to go and be such a dunce? I need her.

I sigh and sit down on my bed. There's something hard underneath me. I stand back up and see the TV remote. Being bored, I flip it on and start surfing through the channels.

"Ooh! Sleeping Beauty is on! Stay on this channel!" Perrie yells happily.

It's almost at the end. The prince guy, I think his name is Phillip or something, is about to fight off Maleficent and then he can get to Aurora and kiss her to break her spell.

"Like, mine." I mutter sarcastically under my breath. Then my eyes widen. Mabey that's it! I have to tell Jade! I stand up just to sit back down. What's the point? She'll just roll her eyes and call me a stupid jackass. But she loves Disney, right? She have tons of Disney themed stuff in her trunk. It's worth a try.

I stand back up.

"Where are you going?" Perrie asks me.

"Um, I just have to, uh, I have to-" As I standthere trying to think of an excuse, there is a knock at the door. I rush over to get it, thankful for whoever had knocked.

I open the door and see Jade, or rather, myself standing there.

"Louis?" Perrie asks. She must have seen her from the door way.

"Hi, uh, Perrie. Er, I need to talk to Lou-Jade for a minute." she says. Perrie just shrugs.

"Ok." she says simply. Jade drags me out into the hallway.

"Uh, hi?" I say to her, uncertain about why she is here.

"Look, I'm really sorry about everything. I didn't mean to snap at you. I don't know what had gotten into me. I just, I was just upset. I was acting stupid and being and twat and-"

I hold up my hands. "Hey! It's ok!" I say to her. She looks up (she had been looking at the floor).

"Huh? Aren't you mad at me?"

I shrug. "Yeah, I guess. I was really mad at first. I mean, wow, you sure do know how to piss off a guy."

She smiles a little. "So we're good?" she asks.
