Louis' POV
After we were finally done with the meeting, I walk walk up to Jade. She's talking with Harry and making me laugh like a girl.
"Can I talk to you please?" I ask her through gritted teeth. She looks at me skeptically.
"Sure." she says after some consideration.
We walk into the hallway and I shut the door. "Look," I say turning to Jade after I had closed it. "I didn't appreciate that little prank you pulled on me." I said. She giggled. "You made me look like a fool."
"Well who's fault is that?" she asked. I scowled at her. But she was right. I didn't have to throw a fit, but I did. There was silence for a few seconds.
"How did you know what cookie I was going to take anyways?" I asked her breaking the quietness.
"I'm quiet for a reason. I notice things a lot of other people don't. Like when someone is offered a package of Oreos, they go for the easiest place they can pick one. So I just guessed that you were going to be like everyone else, and you were." she explains.
"Wow." I say, shocked. I wasn't expecting that. "Anyways, I've been thinking and I-"
"Louis Tomlinson? Thinking? What?" she interrupts me. She places her hand over her heart and opens her in fake shock.
I roll my eyes. "And I decided that you were right. We do need to work together in this. Besides, I have to admit, you pretty smart." I try to say nonchalantly. I hoped she didn't notice that I had just complemented her. I didn't want her thinking that I liked her. (Which I didn't.)
I looked at her and noticed that her cheeks had turned pink. I guess she did notice. Damn.
"Well, Louis, I'm happy you thought that. I didn't really want to go through this alone." she said.
"Oh. Well, I guess we can shake on it." I say.
She shrugs. "Why not?" And she sticks out her hand. I hesitate. But then I shake it.
What am I getting myself into?
Jade's POV
"Can I talk to you?" Louis asks me. I grit my teeth. I don't want to talk to Louis, but maybe he changed his mind.
"Sure." I say after considering the idea.
We walk out into the hallway and he goes to close the door. "Look, I didn't appreciate that little prank you pulled on me." he says. I giggle. What did he expect? "You made me look like a fool." Well, duh. That was the point.
"Well whose fault is that?" I ask him sarcastically. He scowls at me, but deep down, I can tell he knows I'm right.
"How did you know what cookie I was going to take anyways?" he asks me.
I shrug. "I'm quiet for a reason. I notice things a lot of other people don't. Like when someone is offered a package of Oreos, they go for the easiest place they can pick one. So I just guessed that you were going to be like everyone else, and you were." I say simply. He stares at me.
"Wow." he says. I smile. "Anyways, I've been thinking and I-"
"Louis Tomlinson? Thinking? What?" I interrupt placing my hand over my heart in mock shock. He rolls his eyes and continues.
"And I decided that you were right. We do need to work together in this. Besides, I have to admit, you pretty smart." he says. Well I wasn't expecting that. I try not to blush, but it doesn't work. I can feel my face turn red.
"Well, Louis, I'm happy you thought that. I really didn't want to go through this alone." I say to him.
"Oh. Well I guess we can shake on it." Louis suggests.
I shrug. "Why not?" I say and stick out my hand. He hesitates but finally shakes it.
"So I think we should start out by learning the words to each other's singles. I don't know about you, but I sucked ass at Tiny Things." I say to him.
"It's Little Things." he says.
"Exactly."
He laughs. "Yeah. I was good at DNA at all."
"Ok. We will work on them next session that we're together, 'kay?" I say.
"Sure." he replies.
He turns to go back into the room.
"Louis?" I say to him as he opens the door.
He turns to me. "What?"
"Thank you."
Yay! They're working together now! *throws confetti*
Anyways, sorry this is so short. Please vote and comment though!
