CHAPTER 1

After my mother died, when I was 3, Joseph Tamerlin raised me as his own daughter. My mother (Debra) died from being sick for too long.

When my grandmother (Audrey) had found out that my mother was pregnant with me she kicked her out. My mother was only 16.

We would have gone to live with my father, but my father died before I was born... well actually before he even knew that 'I' existed.

My mother lived with friends on and off but mostely on the streets, In the cold, dirty, cruel world.

A man named Joseph Tamerlin took me and my mother in, while she was still pregnant with me. After my mother had me we lived with Joseph. Then a few days after I turned 3 she past away.

This is my life... and just so you know... its all an act.

** ** **

I slammed my dressing room door shut and locked it. I paced back and forth wondering if I should do it or not.

I just want a normal life! I cant keep doing this its an act not a lifestyle!... or at least these people think it is. No! What am I talking about? These arent just 'people' theyre my family! The only family I have...

I had to do it. I couldnt do this anymore. I had to leave.

I grabbed my small white leather bag and began to shovel my clothes into it. This bag was small and I had alot of clothes. I grabbed my pants, shirts, dresses, socks, underwear, everything.

I quickly zipped it up then grabbed my other bag. A small black shoulder bag. I grabbed my money tin inside.

I grabbed a some more clothes plus an extra pair of shoes then slung my bags over my shoulder. I through on my black leather jacket over my poofy dress and skipped out the back door.

The cold air hit my bare legs as I shut the back door to my dressing room. Everyone was still in preformance so nobody was outside.

As I was walking I heard someone yacking. I turned around the corner to see one of my friends, Tia, also known as Diamond.

She glanced over to me and wipped her mouth off. "Babydoll?" she groaned. I wanted to help, but I kept walking and forgot what I saw.

I looked back at my home one last time before walking away from the circus life. My life. Forever...
