"Who's Katherine?" Caroline paced through the room, "I don't understand. What's going on? Why do I feel like this?"

"Katherine is a doppelgänger, she looks like Lena," Bonnie explained, trying to calm her down "As to what you're feeling, well..."

"It's better if Stefan explains it," I said while Elena nodded in agreement.

A few minutes after, Damon and Stefan arrived, Damon strolled through the door and searched for Katherine, Stefan stayed by the door.

"Where is she?" He demanded.

"No idea," Elena answered, "But she turned Care, that's why we call you."

"You, I remember," Caroline interrupted, "I remember everything, how you treated me, you bit me!" She hissed and punched him, pushing him back a few feet, and crashing against a mirror.

"Uh, a little help in here?" I looked at Stefan who seemed amused.

"I haven't been invited in, plus he deserves it," He said and I agreed, he was a jerk to her.

He groaned and tried to get up, but Caroline rushed and charged again, kicking him against the shattered mirror. She repeated this a few times and then backed up, "You suck," she said and rushed away from the house.

"Uh...Stefan?" Elena said, he just nodded and rushed after her.

"So, I'm sure she'll need a ring, but I don't have gemstones to do the spell." Bonnie said shrugging. "Can't believe she's a vampire now."

"I don't think she believes it either," Elena said, "C'mon, I know where Stefan keeps some of those stones," she added and the both left to the Boarding House. Which left me with a wounded vampire, and a lot to clean up.
Girls night my ass, next time we're staying at Elena's.

We sat at the sofa, while I cleaned up some of the cuts with a wet towel. "Way to make a scene, Damon."

"Please, I let her hit me," He shrugged.

I lifted an eyebrow, "Yeah, it totally looked like that," I said as a patted the towel on his cheek, "By the way, you deserved that."

"Whatever," he said, "at least it gave you an excuse," he smirked, "a lame one, may I add." I rose my eyebrows, while I patted, not getting what he meant. His smirk grew wider. "Self-healing dummy," My face turn red, noticing all wounds had disappeared leaving nothing but some blood stains. "Don't act like you didn't know, you wanted to touch me."

Asshole.

"Asshole," I threw him the towel.

"Hey I don't blame you, look at me," he said catching the towel.

I snorted, "How do you function with that ego?" My phone made a sound and I checked it, "It's Elena, she says they can't find the gemstone. Do you know where it is?"

"Like it matters, she won't need it," I looked at him, expecting him to elaborate, "There's no way that girl can be a functioning vampire. We have to kill her."

"No way. That's not happening," he had to be kidding. Caroline wouldn't die, nope.

"It is happening, or it will be the quarterback's sister thing all over again." argued Damon. "Don't get mad at me, you know she's a risk," His logic was flawed beyond recognition. Vicki was unstable even as a human. Caroline wasn't her, she wouldn't end up like her.

"You expect me to be fine with Caroline dying? Think again Damon!" I groaned. "Guess what? I don't care. You're not touching Caroline."

"And when everything goes to hell, because trust me, it will-." He fought.
