(Trinity's POV)
I watched as Tigress got in Daryl's face about a fight, to me, it was kind of funny. I had known she was frustrated but it seemed this man was pushing her buttons and they had just met a few hours ago. I laughed quietly so no one heard, I may have found it funny but I still didn't want to face my sister's wrath because she is pretty scary when she is mad. It was getting dark and I saw my nephew yawn and rub his eyes.
"Um, Rick was it? It's getting pretty late and my nephew seems to be pretty tired, is there a chance you could show us where we are to sleep?" I asked.
"Uh yeah of course," he said kind of trying to break up the pending fight.
"I don't fight girls, girly." The man Daryl said to my sister.
*Oh no bad choice of words dude* I thought to myself as I saw Tigress get madder. "Tigress," I started saying "Darwin is looking very tired don't you want to get him to sleep?" I finished quickly trying to defuse what he had started, it seemed to work as she shook her head.
"Yeah, I probably should." She answered, still obviously mad.
(Tigress' POV)
I was mad *who the hell does he think he is calling me girly. I could take him on and win again without a surprise attack, stupid redneck* I was rambling to myself mentally.
"If you would all follow me I'll finish introducing you to my group and then show you where you will be sleeping," Rick said politely but with authority.
I nodded not trusting what I would say, I picked up my son and cradled him to me while the others grabbed our things. I had a feeling this was gonna be a long and interesting stay, maybe not in the best ways but still. We followed Rick inside the prison and I was basically mapping out the way so I knew all the exits, can't ever be too careful you know. Rick introduced us to everyone else and when I saw the little baby girl, I smiled lovingly and looked at my son remembering when he was that tiny.
We kept walking until we got to another area that had a bunch of cells. "Just cause we don't know you we're gonna have to lock you into your cells," Rick said.
I looked at him and then nodded while saying "That's fine, we understand. I'd do the same thing if I were in your position, after all, we are just a small group of strange people."
"Tigress are you sure that, that is a good idea? I mean for you anyways." Zeke asked with my whole group nodding in agreement.
"I'll be fine." I said out loud and then mumbled: "At least I hope so."
"At least let us take Darwin with one of us," Sam said.
I growled at her "No...My son will be staying with me Sam." everyone nodded after that.
"Alright, these cells right here are empty," Rick said pointing at the empty cells.
We all nodded and said our own form of thanks to him and each picked our "rooms". Darwin and I were in one cell, Zeke and Sam were sharing, Frost and Trigger were sharing the one close to me, Trinity and TeAnna were sharing, and Gabreial was on his own on the other side of my "room". Once everything was settled as much as they could be that is, we all headed to where they were eating.
I just looked around and let Zeke take Darwin to eat, I wasn't hungry even though I should eat since I hadn't eaten all day. I hadn't calmed down from earlier even though it looked like it, I kept looking around when my eyes landed on the reason for my anger. Daryl was watching me and glaring so I glared back surprising him slightly. I heard a noise that didn't sound right so I whipped my head in the direction when I didn't see anything I started walking towards where it was coming from. I had a knife in each hand as I went to investigate, something wasn't right with that noise.
I kept walking until I saw it, there was a small group of walkers that somehow had gotten into the area, what better way to take my anger out. I ran forward very quietly taking out two walkers quickly and smiling at the release of pent up anger and stress.
(Daryl's POV)
I had been watching the woman as she looked around and couldn't help but glare at her, I was still angry that she had taken me down so fast. She looked back my way and glared back which was a little shocking since she looked calm a few seconds ago. Suddenly she whipped her head towards the entryway and then slowly started walking and walked out the door. I got up and followed her quietly so she wouldn't hear me, being a hunter had its advantages *What is this woman up ta?* I thought to myself. I watched as she silently took out two knives and kept one in each hand, she was very quiet that's for sure. If I hadn't of seen her leave I wouldn't have known she was gone, I kept following her when I started to hear the moans of walkers.
I stopped and watched as she stopped for a second and then quietly she ran forward and took out two walkers, I watched as a smile formed on her lips. She kept killing them silently and swiftly she was good but I'd never tell her or anyone else that, that was for sure. I kept watching her as she was finishing off the small hoard, I pulled my crossbow out and shot a walker that had come up behind her. Her head whipped to face me after she took out the last walker and she looked a little shocked.
I smirked at her and walked up to get my arrow from the dead walker. I said while I walked passed her "Don't start what ya can't finish." I saw her get mad and then she walked back the way we had both come.
