It was 2:00 am when I wrote this because I had nothing else better to do than write. (Actually, I was watching "That's So Raven" but that ended when I started writing this thing) Sleep? pfff...who needs sleep when you have a busy mind. (It's like a carnival!!)

Queen Delightful and Lord Starchbottom sat on Queen's Delightful's bed. She was sobbing on him as he hugged her tightly, shushing her. Lord Starchbottom handed Queen Delightful another tissue as she blew her nose loudly. "H-how c-could he do this t-to m-m-meee?" She wept onto his shoulder, Starchbottom held her close while rubbing her back. "I'm so sorry, your majesty. He's obviously a jerk and doesn't care about anybody." She looked into his eyes before hugging him tightly. "B-but how could h-he do such a terrible thing?!"

Lord Starchbottom let out a low growl remembering what he and Queen Delightful had seen outside the castle walls. How dare he hurt the queen. "He has a dark heart. He doesn't deserve a kind hearted person like you." She started to calm down a bit. "Queen Delightful! Please! I'm sorry!" Queen Delightful wiggled out of Starchbottom's tight hug and walked to the window. She saw the knight in shining armour standing from across the moat. His eyes full of tears but not close to how much the queen had cried. She glared at him with angry and hurt eyes. Lord Starchbottom stood by her side and looked down at the desperate man.

"What could you possibly want?" She yelled at him. "I'm sorry, your majesty! What I have done was wrong! Please take me back!" Lord Starchbottom and Queen Delightful let out a small growl hearing the most generic words to come out of his mouth. "Why would I want to take you back after what you have done to me?!" She spat. "B-but my sweet delight! I-" "You're forbidden to call me that!" She turned on her heel and trudged back to bed. "But Queen Delightful, I still love you with all my heart! What can I do to win your heart back?" "Nothing!" Lord Starchbottom yelled as he closed the curtains.

He sat next to Queen Delightful, he saw more tears fall down her face. She let her head fall limply onto his chest. Lord Starchbottom hugged her close again. "It's okay, my queen. He'll go away eventually." "No he won't" She muttered. Starchbottom looked down at her, confused. "What do you mean?" Queen Delightful pulled away from the hug but kept her hands on him. "His stuff is still here." Lord Starchbottom thought for a moment before smiling almost grimly. "Then we'll give it to him." "What? How?" Queen Delightful wiped her eyes. Lord Starchbottom unwrapped himself from the warm hug and left the room. He was back in less than 30 seconds with a bunch of the knight's junk. He dumped the pile onto the floor and took a small trophy from the pile, holding it up to Delightful. "Like this."

He opened up the curtains. He swung his arm around and around as if he were about to pitch a baseball, and threw the thing out the window. It fell into the moat below and sunk to the bottom. "Hey! That's my fencing trophy!" Queen Delightful perked up. She walked towards Starchbottom and looked at him. He took a small box from the pile and handed it to her. She hesitantly took it into her own hands and looked at it. Starchy stepped out of the way and smiled at her. Delightful threw the box out the window and heard a small splash a few seconds following. "Stop!" Queen Delightful smiled. They continued to throw the knight's junk out the window while he pleaded for them to stop. "Queen Delightful, I'm so so so sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you! That girl kissed me first and I-" "Sure she kissed you first. You kissed back anyway. Just go away! You got your stuff so leave her alone." Lord Starchbottom spoke up.

Queen Delightful threw one last thing out the window but instead of hitting the water, it hit him square in the head and knocked the knight out. Queen Delightful gasped as she covered her mouth. "Oops." Lord Starchbottom couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. Queen Delightful looked at Starchbottom and chuckled as well. Those chuckles turned into laughter. "Lord Starchbottom?" Starchy wiped his eyes, his laughing coming to a slow stop. "Yes, my queen?" Queen Delightful flung her arms around her advisor, hugging him tightly. "Thank you for comforting me and helping me feel better. You truly are an amazing, kind, and caring best friend. I love you, Lord Starchbottom." Starchy blushed, touched by her words. He wrapped his own arms around her and hugged her close for what felt like the millionth time that evening. "Your welcome, Queen Delightful. I'm here to support, guide, and protect you. And I love you too, my queen."

The two stayed in their embrace for a while with neither of them wanting to pull away, that was until they heard a familiar voice yelp from outside. "I-I'm sorry, Queen Delightful. I hope y-you're willing to t-take me back some day." Queen Delightful and Lord Starchbottom watched him stumble off with his soaking wet stuff. Delightful sighed relief as Starchbottom put a hand on her shoulder. "He's finally gone." She mumbled. "Good riddance. Want to eat out of a tub of ice cream?" Queen Delightful smiled widely. "You always know how to cheer me up." She wrapped her arm around Starchbottom's neck as he did the same. "After that we can have a sleepover!" Queen Delightful said excitedly as they walked out of the room. Starchbottom smiled. "Whatever you want to help you feel happy, my queen."
