"I dunno, man!" I sighed, toying with the straw from my chocolate milk, "she was just so.. gorgeous."
"And you don't know her name?" Dallon said, laughing quietly. I shook my head, "Well then its you're own fuckin' fault, Brenknob! Why didn't you, I don't know, TALK?" he said as if it was obvious.
"Oh, please. It took you two fucking years to get up the courage to talk to Breezy." I retorted. He opened his mouth to say something, and he closed right after, speechless. Dallon's eyebrows furrowed and he went back to stabbing at his gravy-drenched fries.
"So, what's the plan then?" Spencer asked, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning back in his chair, "Oggle over the image of her in your head or play basketball again tonight?" he smiled.
"Not a bad idea, Spence."
"You're gonna oggle over the ima-"
"No you fucktard, I'm going to play basketball tonight!" I flicked him in the ear and he winced.
"Okay, whatever. Don't come crying to me if she isn't interested though!" he raised his arms in defense and I rolled my eyes.

I waited at the basketball court, practicing my shooting technique. Man, these nets really do suck. Whatever though, it's still a net. I kept my eyes out for Mystery-Girl, but it seemed like she was nowhere to be seen. After a while I gave up. I let out a deep sigh and picked up the basketball from where I let it drop from the net, and headed back toward my house.
I decided I'd try again tomorrow, and even keep an eye out at the school, you know. Just in case. I really hope to see her again. Something about her gives me shivers. Happy shivers.
