September 27th. I'd waited so long for that day to come, and so did my best friends. Finally the world would hear my incredible boyfriend's voice. We graduated. The ceremony wasn't special, I didn't expect it to be. The summer was long. All I did was get a job working for a food packaging plant, which was full time. Brendon and I would see each other during the night after I got off. I started sleeping in the basement so I wouldn't wake my parents coming in late and going out early. But, fuck. My boys are finally out there. Because of Pete's constant hype, the album sold a lot of copies pretty fast, which was incredibly insane. And then we got on a stuffy tour bus.
"Hey, did you get any chips?" Jon called to Ryan, who was making a snack in the small kitchen.
"No, but I got cheez whiz." he replied and turned around, showing his glass container of artificial cheese. Jon scrunched his nose up in disgust.
"We'll get some chips tomorrow, Jon." Spencer sighed and pecked him on the cheek.
"So, what do you guys want to do? We have an hour until we have to go to the venue." Brendon asked, leaning back on the chair. I shrugged, glancing toward the boys who mimicked my movements.
"I dunno, want to walk around?" I suggested. Brendon shrugged and nodded before getting up in unison with me and I went to get a hair elastic.
"Can I come?" Ryan asked.
"Nope. No you cannot. How dare you ask that?" Brendon sneered sarcastically. Ryan rolled his eyes and smacked him as I walked back into the lounge area.
"Let's go!" I pointed toward the door in a 'charge!' motion and we headed toward the door.
"Bye!" Spencer called.
"Get chips!" Jon yelled as we closed the door. The fresh air was nice. It was a little windy, but that was fine since it was also very sunny. We walked around on the streets for a bit when we unexpectedly got stopped.
"Oh my god! You're that new band, Panic! At The Disco!" a girl yelled from behind us. We turned around in confusion and I stepped to the side. Two girls, maybe age fifteen were standing there, eyes wide. Might as well let them have their fame. Brendon and Ryan smiled.
"Y-Yeah. We are." the shorter of the two said.
"Can we get a picture?" the second girl asked.
"Uh, sure." Ryan scratched the back of his head before he stepped over.
"Excuse me, can you take this picture for me?" I snapped out of my staring and took the camera from her hands, snapping a picture of the four. I handed the camera back. "Thanks." she smiled.
"Who are you?" the other girl asked again, pointing toward me.
"Oh, I um-"
"She's my girlfriend." Brendon said and wrapped his arms around me. One girl smiled and held her hands above her heart, the other looked disgustingly jealous. The smiling one turned to her and noticed her expression and smacked her before turning back to us,
"You're very cute together." the girl smiled, "Thank you so much for the picture!" The girls scurried off, and we began walking again, Brendon's arm still around me. Our heels clicked on the pavement as it was silent.
"So. Let's go get some chips for Jon." Ryan suggested.

I watched in awe from the side stage as the boys performed their hearts out. I couldn't believe it. It.. it was incredible. They fit so well up there, especially Brendon. You know, being the most enthusiastic and hyper person I know. The set ended and the four walked off stage, very sweaty. They high fived their security guard, Zack and I followed them into the dressing room.
"That was fucking insane, guys!" I exclaimed. The four of them smiled tiredly.
"That was a lot more fun than I expected." Jon said, sitting down on a chair.
"I didn't imagine so many people would come. Yeah, we're co-touring but shit, that's a lot of people." Ryan sighed and took a long sip of his water bottle.
"This, my friends, is going to take a lot of getting used to. I don't know how we'll do it, but we will." Brendon smiled. "To Panic! At The Disco!" he raised his water bottle. I picked up one from beside me and we 'clinked' the plastic bottles together in a toast.
"To Panic! At The Disco!"
Everything would change from that moment on.
