Oh mah gawsh, Mary is just... Wow. I know a lot of people don't like her and they think she's mean or scary or psychotic... but I feel like she's super underrated.

I mean, at the end of the game, she acted the way she did because she really only wanted Ib and Garry to stay, as she felt alone and she wanted some friends and people to call family... on top of that, Garry bore a striking resemblance to her creator, her father, Guertena, so I can only imagine how she felt when she saw him!
Though I understand why the correct choice was to burn the painting, and why Ib and Garry had to do it, I feel like it was unfair and cruelly painful to Mary....
