My Honest Opinion on The Election

I'm... really not proud of it. I don't like it, and I'm really disappointed in America, but that's just myself and the opinion I am entitled to. I'm not going to go ballistic with hate over the results, though. Trump's going to be our president and I guess I have to accept that.

It's just... so terrible, so disgusting, to think that a man who can instill so much fear in the hearts of women, children, men and even the elderly was elected as leader of our country for the next four years. Four whole years!

You know, my friend was telling me a story over the phone yesterday after we both got to know the turnout of the election the night before. She told me that she had stayed up to watch the election finished with her mother, and even her little sister, who is five years old but was still insistent on watching it and seeing what happened. Their family is a family of Hispanic people; their parents had come from Mexico. She told me that when they got the news of Trump winning, her little sister went deadly silent. After a scary seven minutes of silence, her sister turned to their mother and asked, "Mama, is the scary man gonna send us to Mexico now?" I wasn't even there and this brought me to tears. A five year old girl was so... so scared of this man that's going to be our president after Obama leaves in January. Then my friend told me that their mother teared up and hugged her little sister, saying, "No, baby, no, he won't."
Then her sister asked, "Then is he gonna keep us here and do bad things to us 'cause we're Mexican?"

Like, oh my god. Someone who is making a poor five year old girl raise questions like this... is this who some people were actually supporting to be president? I'm not saying that I won't like them as people, but... sorry, I just don't support it.

All in all, I'm greatly disappointed with this decision of America's, but hey, what can a girl like me do, right?

So, yeah. These are my thoughts on the election. I'll copy and paste this into the rant book so people are twice as likely to set this.
