Cas POV

Dean looks different. I don't think he's slept in days. He's been staying at my house every night because when I stayed with him, I found him simply sitting in Sam's bed, hugging a pillow and crying. I haven't seen Gabe in days either, but Dean tells me when he sees him that he's doing fine. They both aren't themselves. And it's scaring me.

"... Dean?" I ask, sidling up behind him and pressing my forehead into his back. His warm skin is now cold.

He looks straight out of the window, and hums a response. "... Have you eaten anything today, yet?" I ask quietly. He sighs.

"I will, Cas. I promise."

I step back, staring sadly at the back of his head, and turn around to head back to the room. No you won't.

School isn't any better. It's been three weeks. Every day, the smiles feel more out of place. I think some of us were starting to hate it, but knew it'd be wrong to abandon Dean. On the third day of the fourth week, Charlie had had enough.

We all jump to the sound of Charlie's fist slamming on the table. "Alright, you cotton headed ninny muggins!!! Enough sulking!! I think you're going about this situation all wrong."

Dean stares back at her through shadowy eyes. "Oh? Then, please, enlighten me... How should I be going about this?" Charlie opens her mouth to tell him. "My family was taken from me, Charlie. My family. How do I handle this properly?"

Her face morphs into one of sympathy. "Dean... I know you miss Sam. And I know you blame yourself more than anyone about what happened to him. But if you don't do something, nothing will ever get any better." Dean looks at her, brow furrowed. She smiles a genuine smile- something we haven't seen in days- and pulls out a paper. It's folded into literally the smallest thing I've ever seen, and as she unfolds it, you can see that it's a map.

A map of Olympus.

Dean's eyes widen. "Charlie, how the hell did you get a hold of that?" Alfie leans in.

"I've got friends on the other side." She states in a deep voice with a wink.

"But... But I don't understand. What are you planning on doing?" I ask. Her grin extends.

"I've been doing research. Zeus has a prison in the Underworld, where he keeps all of the other traitors and hostages he's needed. It won't be hard to get in; it's getting out that's the problem." Charlie gestures with her finger the entrances to- well, to Hell. "Obviously, there's no where else he would've put Sam. But, at the same time, he may suspect we're gonna go to him. That we are gonna hunt for Sam, so we need to expect it to be dangerous."

At this point, Sammie, Kamren, Kevin, Trent, Alfie, Garth, and Jo had all tuned in. leaning desperately on the table, Dean shakily asks, "So what's the plan?"

We had three days until this took place. Today is Tuesday; we plan on leaving Friday. I already had my things packed, and Dean was prepared from the moment he heard there was a possibility of getting Sam back. I wander aimlessly into Gabe's room, to find him napping on his bed, his eyes puffy with tears. I walk gingerly over to him, sitting gently as to not wake him. I was unsuccessful. He rolls over and sniffles.

"Hey," I state calmly, "look at you. I miss seeing your face around. It would be nice to have seen you at lunch today." He rubs the heels of his palms into his eye sockets. "Where have you been off to nowadays anyway?"

Still hardly awake, he mumbles, "Seeing my dad..."

My blood almost runs cold. Gabe is an orphan. He doesn't have a father. "Gabe, what are you talking about?"
