Three Little Words [Ayano x Budo]

Chapter 14 // 0 to 100

Ayano's POV
I woke up clinging onto Budo. I couldn't tell if he was awake or not, so I tried my best to not make him wake up.
There were two things that disturbed me last night.
Taro and his words.
The way he talked to me, I pitied him. He was like my former self, but he just couldn't learn. It was kind of sad.
My attention soon turned to Budo, realising he was staring down at me and pulling me in closer.
"Good morning."
"Good morning to you too." I nuzzled into his neck which made him smile
"Do you want to do anything today?" he yawned
"Nah. Let's just relax today."
"Alright, we've got the house to ourself today. Mother doesn't get home until 9pm today."
"Oh, okay. What time is it?"
"According to my phone it's about 11:30."
"Oh damn! Late morning huh."
"Yeah, I'll go get us something to eat."
"Thanks, I'm going to take a shower."

Budo's POV
She seemed to be a lot calmer than last night. I can't even begin to imagine what happened, but I didn't want to bring back any memories to her.
I was going to make sure that today was as calming and relaxing for her as possible.
I made us some tamagoyaki and steamed rice for breakfast, while she took a shower. I put our plates in the oven so they wouldn't get cold and went upstairs. I had heard a door so I assumed that Ayano had finished and was changing in her room. My suspicions were confirmed when I saw her room's door was closed.
I went into my room and stripped down, wearing nothing but a towel on the tower half of my body. I certainly needed a relaxing shower after the events of yesterday.
I walked into the bathroom and closed the door, taking off my towel and preparing to shower. As I turned towards the shower I was greeted by a high pitched scream.

Ayano.

Was still.

In here.

"OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY!" I shouted trying to hide my bare naked body.
"STOP LOOKING!" she screamed blushing. I covered my eyes and passed her a towel that was hanging up on the door before grabbing one for myself.
"T-thanks I guess..." she murmured awkwardly, "I'm covered, you can open your eyes."
"I am so sorry Ayano, I honestly thought you were in your room changing."
"It's fine... besides, it was my fault. I'm so used to living alone that I forgot to lock the door." I went over and gave her a hug. When I moved back, Ayano started to try to hold in a giggle - but unable to do so, she burst out with an adorable laugh.
"What? What is it?" I asked embarrassed
"Nothing.. You're just getting... a little too excited." I instantly turned red and looked down to confirm my suspicions.
"Oh shit.. I- uh... I.. Yeah I have literally no excuses, I saw you naked damn it." she laughed and I let out an embarrassed chuckle
"Eh. We both knew I was gonna see Budo Junior at some point." she smirked and added a little wink
"Woah, woah. I think you mean Budo Senior." I defended myself
"Why are we even discussing this?"

Side note, because the author is a dirty minded creep. Anyway, continue!

"God i don't know." I said, dropping my towel
"BUDO!" Ayano blushed
"I need a cold shower."
"Could you not have waited until I left the room?"
"It's not like you haven't already seen it up close and personal anyway. Might as well save time."
"You have strange logic, but in a weird way it kind of makes sense."
"Don't question it sweetheart. It'll only confuse you even more."
I got in and took a cold shower - not exactly what I had planned, but I needed it.
Ayano went and got changed into a grey button up shirt and a black pair of shorts, nothing too fancy since we were just relaxing today.
As I was getting out I remembered breakfast. I dried of with a towel and knocked on Ayano's door.
"Yes Masuta?" I opened the door and invited myself into her room
"Breakfast is in the oven, i'll meet you down in a minute."
"Jesus Masuta, I know we are relaxing today but damn, put some clothes on!"
"I am now, just give me a minute." she got up to get breakfast and kissed me on the way out.
"Don't restart the process, I don't want another cold shower."
I went into my room and got changed into a button up blue checkered shirt with some black jeans.
I rushed downstairs to see a nervous looking Ayano.
"STAY BACK!" she shouted
"Ayano? Are you okay?" I walked towards her slowly. She broke down in tears and ran up to me, embracing me tightly and resting her head on my collarbone.
"I just... the stairs... he- he..."
"Shh. You don't have to think about that any more. I'm here and I won't let him get to you, I swear."
"I know Budo. I love you so much."
"I love you more than anything in the world Ayano." I said, hugging her tighter
"You saved me Budo. You continue to save me. I am so glad you came into my life."
I took her to the sofas, where we ate our breakfast and talked about anything other than Taro.
"Ayano, since we have a regular income with the cafe and we're both 18... I was thinking.."
"I thought you'd never ask. Most of our friends have moved out or are moving out soon. Since we own a business, it'll be super easy!"
"Exactly! But, Ayano... are you sure we aren't moving too fast?"
"Life's short, don't waste time waiting to do something that will inevitably happen."
"I guess you're right. I only wish I could have spoken too you sooner."
"That doesn't matter now. All that matters is that we are together now."
*knock knock*
"Coming!" I shouted and walked towards the door.
"Hey Budo," they peered around me, "Oh, hi Hajime-Chan. Is this a bad time?"

ANOTHER new character!? Who is it this time? Notice how I put "they" I'm not giving out ANY hints, you'll just have to wait and see! Muahahahaha
