Clarissa's POV

For centuries, five thousand centuries, I have done everything in my power to avoid him. I have changed my appearance, identity and location many times. Yet, I could still feel him closing in on me and my offspring. For the past 2 years, we have come dangerously close to meeting one another again. I pray to Lucifer that the day shall never come. Boy was I wrong.

I was out on mission for a friend of mine, he called saying that his territory was run a muck by some vampire wannabe. As it turns out, it wasn't just a real vampire, but a newborn. The trail of evidence shown me to an unmarked grave in an unmarked cemetery. As I walked along through crumbled graves and endless misery of the unmarked dead, I sense a great power amongst a path. I assume it was the new born, and I thought nothing of it when I followed. When I came at the end of the path I saw the newborn and it was shouting at something or someone.

The newborn was a woman, redhead, dressed in all black leather and inappropriate wear for the modern female. I couldn't really make out the person or creature she was arguing with, but all I could see from where I was hiding was that they were very tall, had long raven hair, red eyes and wore something of the old Victorian wear. So clearly, from where I was standing, they were a vampire and a powerful one at that. I realize that they were the one I sensed down the path, not the newborn. I quickly climbed the nearest tree and prepared my attack.

Since this was at a close range, I decided to use an ordinary AK-47. As I prepared for the kill, I heard the sound of a gun going off; I looked up to find the tall vampire's body on the ground. The newborn slowly walked toward the corpse, and I saw the opportunity to take my shot. I aimed  my gun and shot her right through her pretty little skull. She fell instantly and I climbed back down to gather the proof. When I came to her now dead corpse, I took several pictures and pulled out her remaining fangs. As I began to leave I heard a sudden whoosh sound and felt a disturbing present.

"Nice shot, but next time announce yourself before you take someone's kill." a deep, familiar voice advised. I slowly continued to walk along the path, praying to Lucifer, even God that this man isn't who I think he is and that he doesn't remember me. "Excuse me miss, it is not polite to ignore someone who is talking to you," he said. Finally I stopped to face him and say,"First of all; unless you also know the vampire who runs this territory, back off, this was my kill okay? Second, just because you were here first, doesn't mean you get to ask me questions about my reason of being here, and third; just shut up!''

All I heard was complete silence, until he backed me up against a tree and held my face up to his. I could see his face clearly now, the same face that broke my heart and empire five thousand years ago in a somewhat new form. "After all these years, I've finally found you, my goddess." He began to tighten his grasp around my wrist and waist; there was no use of me breaking away now, so I would have to wait until he let his guard down. He then gently push my hair back, so that my neck was seen clearly, he then sniff and lightly bit in to my neck. He licked up the little blood that escaped the small wound and said "I missed that sweet fragrance, that taste, I missed you."

All of sudden, I couldn't think, let alone breathe. My body began to remember his charm, the seduction in his voice, his strong hands, his breathe against my skin. "Don't give in, he's toxic", I thought, "Remember what happened last time he enter your life, he nearly destroyed it!" As I fought with my consciences, he began to slide his hand under my skirt. I tried to escape his grasp, but he only tightened it, he began to bite harder on my neck. So hard that I almost black out from the blood lost.

Finally, I kick him in the balls just so he let me go. He fell to his knees and I kick him in the throat, and ran. But unfortunately, I didn't get very far when he shot me with a sliver bullet. I then black out but not before he carried me bridle style and said, "You're not getting away from me that easily, this time I'll never let you go."
