Clarissa's POV

I've been driving for two days straight, no breaks, no time to sleep, or eat. Wendy and I were extremely exhausted, and cranky. Around 3 hours latter on the third day, it was time to stop and relax. We stop at a small, clean, and quaint motel in the middle of the forest. We got out of the car and, walk into the office, and paid 100 dollars for 2 beds, 1 room for 3 nights. The lady was happy enough to give us the first room, since there weren't any people coming. When we entered the room, I could tell it was polished to the bone. The wall paper was blue with multiple flowers, and prints. One bed was pure gold with curtains hanging on each sides of it. The other was pure sliver, which also had curtains around them. We sat our bags under the beds and turned on the TV. I let Wendy go first into the bathroom for a shower, and changing into her pajamas'.

While she was doing that I was trying to figure out which route to take, which cities to go to, where to stop next, and where to get our food. I couldn't think, let alone breathe. I thought he was gone for good, but, as always he never permanently leaves, he disappears, and then reappears without warning. As I was in mid thought, Wendy came out of the bathroom wearing a Hello Kitty shirt with matching shorts and slippers. "Did you brush your teeth?" I asked trying to distract her form my plans. "Yes, it's your turn. I'm going to sleep, goodnight mom." She replied as she covered herself in the bed. I packed all of the plans in my backpack, and went to the bathroom, and close the door.

As the hot water wash the dirt, odor, and anxiety. I began to look back and think of the first time I was in a motel. It was similar to this one, but much bigger, not as old fashioned. I had to share a room for 2 weeks, with him.

It was 1910, and I just finshed killing a coven of vampires, and a couple of werewolves who betrayed their packs to joins forces with them. I don't remember what it was called but it was close to London. At this time, I was some-what friends with Alucard. We've seen eachother a couple of times on different, or similar jobs. The leader, at the time, ask me to join as well, I also decline the his request.

I walk 200 miles to the nearest motel, thank god it was open, but there were barly any rooms left. Just as she was about to kick me out, a deep voice said,"She can stay with me, if that's alright?" I turned to find him, in a different attire. He wore a long black overcoat, a long, black, tight, long-sleeve shirt, black, jeans, and a pair of black combat boots. I had to admit he look somking hot in black. "Hello, little helper, long time no see." I said, grinning. He smiled as well, and showed me to our room.

The walls were cream colored, and there was only one bed in the room. I quickly headed into the shower and close the door. Knowing that it would not stop him, I put a barrier around the bathroom, so that he wouldn't faze in. I wash all of the blood, and dirt out of my hair and on my body. Once that was over with I change into a long sleeve red shirt with the words "Badass, and loven it" on it. I step out of the room and found him on the bed reading a file that had my name on it. I laugh and said, "What right do you have to go read my file?" He then looked up at me and smirked," Well since you won't tell me anything about you past, powers, or anything at all. I took matters into my own hands." He replied, holding my file. I claimed on the bed and tried to grab it, but he not only raise it higher and flip me over, so that he was now on top.

I tried to put up a fight but I was too tired, so we just laugh it off. "So what have you figure out so far?" I asked eyeing my file. "Well, other that your name, nothing, your original birth , death, and age are unknown. How is that possible? " he said as he place the file down, and drew closer to my face. "Well, I began, I'm very good at hiding. I distance myself form the world, It's better that way. No one gets hurt, and no one will miss me when I'm gone, and I like that. " He looked at me with the saddess expression on his face and whispered in my ear,"I'll miss you, because I won't be able to do this."
