Niall's POV
We were on our sixth game of Mario Kart. The scores were tied. Right at the moment, Liz and I were neck to neck.
I took a glance at Liz. She looked so into the game. So concentrated. She looked so beautiful in her concentrated state. Careful with every move she made. It was pretty obvious she was competitive. Just like me
I was too distracted taking in all her beauty when I heard the noise from the game indicating someone had bumped. I discovered it was me. She was now in the lead. I could see the finish line. I was so close. However, she was closer.
"Almost there," i whispered to myself putting all my attention back in the game.
"HA!!" she esclaimed. "I told you I'd win Horan,"
"Yeah well that was just luck,"
"Sure, sure it was," she said smiling. God, i loved that smile. Everytime i saw it, it lighted up my entire world. It was the best view.
"it was,"
"yeah, if that'll help you sleep at night," she said and we both started laughing. "So what do you want to do now?"
"Movie?" I questioned.
"Kay," she answered. "Which one?"
"you pick,"
"I picked the game so you have to pick the movie,"
"You picked a great game so i trust you to pick a great movie too. Which is why you're doing it."
"Fine, If you insist" she said.
I started logging on my netflix so Liz could pick something to watch. When i was finally done, i turned to look at Liz who was currently on her phone. "I'm going to make some popcorn while you get something to watch" i said
"Yes Sir!" she said saluting me. This girl always makes me laugh.
I left the room leaving her with the job of finding our 'entertainment'. I proceeded into the kitchen. I found a bag of popcorn and placed it in the microwave. When that bad of popcorn was done i looked for a bowl and poured the popcorn in it.
"The food is ready," I said, sitting abruptly on the couch making Liz jump.
"Finally! i thought you were died in there!" she said sarcaticly.
"Nope," i said popping the 'p' and going back into the kitchen once again ritrieving drinks from the fridge.
"The movie is about to start" she informed.
"Which one is it?"
"That's for me to know and for you to find out." Liz contested. The film turned out to be "Dear John." I had never actually seen it. However, from what I have heard, it was extremely sad.
Apparently the movie was sad. Liz was vey emotional throughout the it. I can't help but think how cute she is when she cries. It seems like everything she does makes her look perfect. Flawless.
I wasn't resally paying attention to the movie. I was too distracted observing the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.
I let out a chuckle while she was crying. "How are you not crying right now? This is so sad," she tried to say in between sobs.
"I wasn't crying because i was too busy staring at you and did not watch or listen to the movie at all" I thought. Nonetheless, "I don't really get it," was all i said with a shrug. Although i was pretty sure the story was pretty comprehendable.
