Whisper, please whisper

You must not wake them

Those little creatures living in the trees

Those little fur balls who enjoy hoarding seeds

They are asleep now

Whisper for them

When the cold comes 'round they fall fast asleep

They are cute little fur balls

Is it dead?

I don't know

They can't hear you

They won't wake until the heat penetrates their beds

It doesn't matter if you whisper

They can't hear you

Be nice and whisper anyway

They are still asleep

Be courteous to those little fur balls

Whisper, would you please whisper?
