Mark gritted his jaw, the audacity this man had before him. He let out a snarl of discontent then stalked into his room. “Go home!” he snapped over his shoulder, but when he sat down on the bed and let the silence settle the fading footsteps he half-heartedly waited for never came. A soft sigh fell over him instead, “Luke…really.”

There came a soft click.

Swiftly, Mark turned around, just over the corner of the wall he could see the closed door and no Luke…His footsteps had been that silent? He was left alone then; he had certainly received his wish. Mark choked back some sort of noise of a specific kind; he lay back breathing out evenly as the night began to fall.

He had left, really, just like that.  Relief swept over Mark now, he could just lie here alone and fear of the return of the monster known as Luke.

Luke had left that apartment only ten minutes ago, already he could feel what he’d done wasn’t right. He should have stayed, it wasn’t like Mark had shoved him out on his way…Sure Mark pretty much hated him right now, they could talk it over, and they would talk it over! But for tonight they wouldn’t…Mark was just too…emotional? That could be because of Luke though, who wouldn’t get emotional at the sight of him?

A smirk formed on Luke’s lips as he thought back to his teenage years.

Mark had good reason to be pissed at Luke, but now Luke was practically begging for him, he wanted to just cling to his new…’love?’ – and never release it.

Couldn’t his precious Mark just see that?

Once Luke had his arms around the man, they’d never unravel, he’d bring his mouth close to Mark’s, he’d intake the sweet scent of his new found lover and he could just die like that. Intoxicated by the smell and feeling of his fascination, he would remain there…
