If you ask me, this part really does suck. Don't ask me why I feel bad about it. Just. DO. Meh.
Yup. Don't like it at all, but...I've re-done it a few times and I guess this was the best I could do...Blah. Sorry.

Luke sprawled out lazily upon the wooden park bench, his eyes focused ahead upon the dark water, the annoying quacking of ducks sounding around him, along with parent's useless dribble as they watched their children swing upon their swings and scream at the top of their lungs when something was either too funny or too creepy. Luke hated children; they were so stupid and just...Obnoxious? There was no other word to really suit the little creatures.
Why was Luke here anyway? He had been thinking...He asked Mark to meet him here sometime and...Would they really feed the ducks? Mark probably would, it made Luke smile slightly and he brought his hand over his face and rubbed his chin, ignoring the fact he was going to have to shave in some point in time today, he was too lazy this morning and he was just so persistent in getting here.
'Here.' Luke looked over to the path way, his eyes narrowing as he let himself slip into his memories, boring himself with the past...The time he and Mark met, under that very willow just ten feet away, the times they chased each other through the park, laughing and squealing as the stupid children are doing now...Middle school, they crossed each other. They would stay up late and watch what was on TV then laugh at one another's faces as they came to something unpleasant. "Ugh...I miss it."
"Miss what?" Luke flinched away, slipping on the edge as his eyes stared at the one who had spoken and taken a seat right beside him on this bench. Mark, a piece of bread in his hands, Luke smirked. Of course he would.
Luke drew in a breath, hooking his legs around one another, gazing back to the pond, "Miss when...We were younger." Luke felt his lip twitch.
"Ah...High school?" Mark didn't look at Luke; he noticed this from the corner of his eye. He shifted, why did it bother him so? "'Cause. Last I checked, we didn't like each other come high school." Mark now turned his attention to Luke, his eyes piercing as he glared at Luke a slight snarl to his voice as he spat those words.
"Mark-" Luke swallowed, he was sorry. Really, but he'd rather not have to admit to it. "I'm..." Luke folded his hands together, leaning over slightly as he stared down at the earth.
"What?" Mark snapped, Luke didn't want to look at his face, could he really still be upset over something years ago? 'Can you really be upset by something that happened years ago?' Luke rolled his eyes at himself, "You're sorry? Save it. I really don't want to hear it." Mark leaned back into the bench; Luke looked over at his crossed arms from under his eyelashes.
Luke separated his hands, pressed his palm to the wood and leaned on it over to Mark, "Mark, please." The male turned his head away; Luke swallowed once again, "Mark!" He tried to be persistent, he wanted Mark to hear just how much he regretted what happened and how now he felt a bit different to the man. Or so he thought. No, no he didn't think. Mark was another man; he didn't feel that way towards men.
"Can you just shut up?" Mark's eyes bore down into Luke's, he froze, they were scary...His eyes. Luke leaned away again.
"Sorry." He grumbled, staring now at Mark's crossed arms. He let the silence drag out, but only for a few moments, "So, how's life?" Luke raised his eyebrow, watching closely as Mark tore a bit of bread and chucked it to the pond. He didn't look to where he dropped; Luke was busy, busy staring at Mark.
Mark sighed deeply, "What is it?" He asked, Luke blinked back in surprise. He was that obvious? Might as well try and play dumb,
"What do you mean?"
"You staring...I can see that you know." Mark half smiled, turned his head to Luke's, "And...Life is fine. Life is good. I moved out." Mark gestured with his hand, Luke felt his eyebrows furrow, but he felt this odd swelling in his chest. So, there's a relief, he no longer lived with crazy parents.
"That's good!" Luke exclaimed, smiling largely at his companion then without thinking he blurted, "I wanna visit sometime!" Luke bit his lower lip, mentally slapping himself on the forehead. Oh, he was an idiot for sure.
"Uhm..." Mark couldn't give an answer, he didn't want this guy anywhere near him at this point in time, but...Mark smirked, his eyes sparking with a new interest, "We can...Go now?" He cocked his head to the side, his smirk growing as he examined the male before him. Maybe this time, he'd really get rid of him.
Luke trotted swiftly behind Mark, he was still a few inches shorter than the older male, not that it bothered him, he didn't want too many things to change...Change was probably better though. Like this new look Mark had taken in, his messy chocolate hair, the piercings on his lips, those tight jeans and how they gripped his-
"We're here." Luke heard Mark growl and he looked away from the man's ass to stare up at the apartment building, a place he'd probably he too scared to go into if Mark weren't here. It was like a place you'd expect drug dealers to be in, all blah and with cracks.
"Ah." Luke followed Mark closely up the stores and it his door, peering under Mark's arm when it was opened, ducking under and heading in, his eyes darting around for purposes of his own, taking in holes in the wall and how dark the place was, "Ever draw back the curtains." He motioned to them, and Mark nodded, smiling slightly as he closed the door quietly after himself.
"Just relax?" Mark shrugged, smirking to himself as Luke plunked down on his sofa, crossing his legs as soon as he did and yanking his light sweater tighter around him. Mark could resist so well, yet...He'd play like he couldn't, he had to scare this guy off before things went back to how they were. Mark chasing after a hopeless crush, he removed his jacket and tossed it to the counter, crossing over the room slowly his eyes on Luke who was examining the place, looking for something he could pick at probably. Mark growled inwardly, not wanting to alert the male into anything weird...yet.
Mark raised an eyebrow as he stood before Luke, the male just staring back at him puzzled. "Idiot." He barked, couldn't he see it? Mark was making it obvious enough right? He leaned over, his finger tucked under his friend's chin and tilting it upward, "Luke..." He purred, his lips brushing up against the others. He let his other hand grip to Luke's knees and just as he expected the male got tense and shifted slightly.
What Mark didn't expect was Luke to press his lips onto Mark's, now it was Mark's time to grow tense, he felt Luke's arm snake over his shoulder, pulling him down, closer. Mark managed to escape the kiss, his eyes locked onto Luke's, their foreheads against one another's, Mark drew in breaths, "Luke...What are you doing?" Mark whispered, pressing his lips together as he felt Luke's breaths upon his lips.
"Eh." Those grey eyes stared up at him, Mark let his lips meet Luke's once again, Luke's tongue-
"No! Stop it!" Mark snapped, shoving Luke down on the couch he so climbed up on, "You aren't supposed to react like this!" Those confused orbs stared up at Mark, he sucked in his breath though his teeth. What to do?
"You should go..." Mark staggered off, turning away, he could hear Luke stand and move, and he felt his thin arms snake around his own waist as Luke embraced him.
"Mark?" Mark tilted his head back, this was bad...Luke was serious, but it had been years. Why? Now it was Mark's turn to swallow,
"Yes?" He answered, his hands placed over Luke's as he rubbed the soft pale skin, the corner of his mouth twitching up in a smile.
"Can I stay?" There was a pause; Mark listened as Luke drew in a breath, "For the night..." It couldn't be bad...
"Yeah. Sure." Those arms tightened around him and this sinking feeling came to Mark's chest.
This was bad...Very bad.
