Camila flinched when Austin used this much force to keep her in one place. "You're hurting me," She whispered.

Austin blinked a few times before he let go of her, contemplating his next move for a minute while the girl just stood there frozen.  He started pacing around and mumbling to no one in particular and that was enough evidence for Camila to come to the conclusion that Austin was insane.

"Look, you've had your fun using me and thinking my life wasn't as pathetic as I thought it was and to be honest you're freaking me out, can I just go?" She tried distracting him while her hand slowly slipped in her purse trying to find her phone. Austin was behaving so weird, all she wanted was to just go home, and by that she didn't mean her house. She wanted to go to her safe place, even if it wasn't in the real world.

"If you ever tell someone what happened I swear to God Camil-"

"I won't." She cut him off impatiently. "Goodnight, Austin."

Camila walked away from him and turned to look if he was going to follow her but fortunately he didn't because he was already making his way to his car. When he drove off in the dark and was gone completely, Camila released a breath she didn't even know she was holding. She didn't even know how she managed to be so calm about this situation but finally seemed to realise Austin basically harassed her. Camila looked at her hands –that were trembling heavily– and realised how much she hated people. Every time she decided to get out there and live something like this would happen.

This was exactly the reason she had to fight the constant urge to escape reality, going to the one place.. no, person where she felt truly happy.  It wasn't perfect, but it was enough. Lauren was enough, and she felt incredibly stupid for thinking she could maybe find someone that could make her that happy in the real world.

"He did what?" Dinah raised her voice after Camila explained everything that happened tonight, dropping her gaze to the floor in embarassment.

Dinah got up from where she was sat in her bedroom. "I am going to kill that boy, destroy his life, ruin his reputation and then chop off his di-"

"It's fine really, I'm over it." Camila interrupted the girl's little rant, but she wasn't exactly telling the truth. It was anything but fine but she just wanted to forget about it as soon as possible. It was already difficult enough knowing she had to tell Lauren because that girl could sense her sadness from miles away.

"I see the sadness in your eyes, I can also feel it," She had said to Camila once when she had a fight with her father and cried herself to sleep. It took Lauren one glance to notice it.

"Why are you acting so cool about the fact that he tried to fucking assault you?" Dinah asked in confusion.

Camila shrugged, not really knowing what to answer. "He was pretty shaken up when he realised what he did, I think he learned his lesson."

"Oh he'll learn his lesson alright, I'll teach him one," Dinah rummaged through her closet before she revealed a bat, swinging it in the air proudly when she found it.

Camila chuckled whole-heartedly at the sight of her friend being this supportive and protective but also managing to make the situation less heavier. "You're crazy,"
