*Vik's POV*

Panic time.

I had to improvise. Normally I'm quite good at improvising as I do it in YouTube a lot. But at that moment my heart sank as I was afraid I wouldn't get my words out.

I thought it was going to be Josh who'd mess the plan up with Emily. But it really wasn't. It was me and I didn't know what to do.

I looked around for help. Out of the corner of my eye I caught Simon making strange hand gestures trying to help. I honestly didn't know what he was trying to get across. I guess I was by myself at that point.

I noticed Beth looking so confused as my hand was positioned around her wrist since I dragged her to this place and I hadn't let go yet.

I guess it was time just to get everyone off my chest. The only problem was I noticed the clock. We only had 3 minutes left before I was forced away.

"Just listen to me, okay?" I said. She nodded, she still had that confused expression on her face and that made me nervous.
"This isn't easy for me to say and I may sound really really stupid."
Just say it Vik!
"Okay. Remember mine-con? When we first met. Well I didn't speak to you as I was lovestruck."
This was going well.
"Basically, the point is that I think you're beautiful and amazing, I really like you and fate just doesn't want us to be together as I never actually got the chance to tell you this,"
There was only 1 minute left, I needed to hurry up.
"I'm willing to fight fate."

They were the last words I was able to say before I was escorted away by security.

"Can I not have 5 more minutes?" I asked the strangely scary security man.
"Sorry but I'm only doing my job, I can't make that decision."

Damn it.

Maybe I needed to give in to fate.

The worst thing was, was that we had an event the day after so we couldn't stay in Newcastle.

I made my way to Simon and pulled him to the side.
"I don't think I'll be able to do the Manchester event tomorrow." I said on the verge of tearing up.

Simon placed his hand on my shoulder. "I know it's hard, but you never let your fans down. Are you sure?"

"I'm sure, I guess there's a first time for everything."

"But what about fans who's travelled really far just to see you, I know you definitely wouldn't let them down" Simon said.

I hate when he's right. And at that point he was 100% right.

"Well when you put it like that. I have to do it."

"Every little thing is gonna be alright" Simon reassured me. "Now come on, we'll go get a drink before we leave."

*Beth's POV*

I still couldn't believe what had happened. Neither could Emily or Lauren. Well Lauren could a bit as she witnessed him saying 'I love you' a couple of months ago.

It had been nearly a week since the Newcastle event. I tried getting in contact with him. Well I spammed his Twitter like 'hello, it's me'. But he hasn't been online since the day after the Newcastle event.

He didn't get to finish what he was saying. I want him to finish. But I said he wouldn't give in to fate, yet he has. Maybe he's a broken boy.

I tried tweeting Simon but he never saw the tweet, I'm guessing.

Vik might've given up but I know how hard he tried and how the perfect opportunity was taken away from him. I hadn't given up. So I called Emily.

"Hey, when do you go back to London?" I asked.

"Saturday, why?" She replied.

"I'm coming."
