Project Monster (Levi X Reader)

Chapter 6

Farlan came home later that night, beaten pretty badly. I had already gone to bed. I got up hearing him and Levi talk and when I put weight on my foot I was confused cause it didn't hurt. I walked over to the mirror and nearly screamed my head off. The boys then ran into my room.

"What's wrong!?!" Levi yelled.

"M-my wounds!!! There completely healed!?!?!"

"What how is that possible!?!" Farlan was worried and confused.

"No it can't be..."

I dashed over to my bookshelf. Checking the names of books. Levi and Farlan were dumbfounded as I pulled out a journal and started reading it. Its my fathers journal with all his research in it. I turned to page 123 and started reading. If i remember corectly i have read in my fathers journal that there is a serem that gives a person the strength of that of a titan as well as there fast healing abilities, they do not change into one however. My eyes stop reading and i drop the book. Memories of that day flashing through my mind i got up and ran to the bathroom removing my shirt and pants.

"This cant be happening!!"

Levi and Farlan ran in the bathroom blushing instantly then there faces turning to shock as they stared at the giant tattoo on my hip.

"When the hell did you get a tattoo!?!?!" Levi yelled.

"I have had it since i was five years old."

"What the hell, (y/n) your gonna have to explain this to us." Farlan said confused.

"Alright, listen closely i will only say this once. When i was a little girl my father conducted research on the so called giant titans but since that is illigal he did it in secret, to protect his family. A group of people called the First Generation found out about his research and went after him.

My father knew that he would soon be caught but he didnt want his research to go to waste he knew that one day it would be the key to saving humanity. So my mother and him talked about it and ended up injecting the serem into my vains." There eyes grew wide in shock.

"Wait what does this have anything to do with the tattoo?" Farlan asked.

"The tattoo is a marking given to me by the serem in my body. It proves that im a monster. When they injected me with the serem it showed up, and since it was the first time my father had used the serem he had thought that there was a problem. Seeing as the serem is supposed to be put in a pendant and the user wears it around there neck, and that alone gives them the power. However my father didnt want anyone to find it therefore leading him to his actions on me. If the user is not strong enough it will kill them, and now that i know that i am possitive i will die a lot sooner than i am supposed to. I will most likely start having problems when i am in my late 20's and i will no dout die in my early 30's."

"WHAT!?!" Levi yelled.

I sighed. "Farlan could you give us a second?"

He nodded and left. I turned to Levi and am almost pushed to the ground from the force of his hug.

"Levi?"

"There is no way in hell i am going to let you die that early!"

"Levi i cant help it my father he-"

"I dont care i will find a cure my damn self if i have to but i will not let you die. I dont care about your old man or what he did i already dont like him if he could do something like this to his own daughter."

I grabbed his shoulders and moved him so that i was staring into his eyes.

"Levi i will try my hardest to find a cure but it is going to be hard without all of my fathers notes."

"If you need his notes why not just go to your old house and get them?"

"That would be great assuming that they are even there."

"Well then we are just gonna have to go check, now arent we."

I sighed again. "Alright i will go to my old home."

"I promise (y/n), i will give you the best days of your life till we find that antidote!"

I giggled. "Thank you Levi."

We went outside and got Farlan and started to talk about the subject more.

"So its settled then, we will go back to my house and find the notes?" I asked.

"Yes, but are you ready, to face old memories?" Farlan stated.

"Ill be fine, dont worry." I put on a fake smile hoping they dont see right through it.

"Alright (y/n), go get some sleep, your gonna need it."

I nodded and went to bed. Though when i got to bed and got ready. I couldnt sleep, the memories were to much and i started to cry. To think my parents are dead because they were trying to keep me and the serem safe. Its all my fault they are dead, and all because they wanted to save a monster like me.
