Chapter 12

I woke up in a cell, Erwin Smith staring at me through the bars.

"You said we'd talk so then who are you."

"My name is (y,n) (l,n) and I can talk to titans."

"Why would you tell me this?"

"Because you need help and so do I, I am dying I won't live past 36. My ability came from my father who made a serum to give a person the abilities of a titan in order to save humanity, but in fear of someone finding it he injected it into me when it was only supposed to be put in an amulet. The effects of it have greatly shortened my life span."

"And what of the man who was with you, does he posses such skills as well?"

"No he is just someone who helped me through something tragic. But that doesn't matter now I have my father's research and the whole reason I came was because I need the help of Hange, Zoe to make the antidote. So I offer you a deal, I will use my powers to help save humanity if you help with a cure."

"Hmmm, alright you have yourself a deal, soldier."

"Another thing, I would like to keep my identity hidden for the time being. There are people who know me and want this power for bad use and I cannot let that happen."

"Very well."

He unlocked the cell and my chains, taking me out the door and to the survey corps hq.

"What about Mori?"

"He still needs to go through the court but I promise you he will be safe and will be joining you after."

"Good."

He took me to a room with two beds and dresser.

"You will share a room with with Petra Ral. She is a squad member of captain Levi he is the one who-"

"Had his foot on Mori yes I am well aware of who he is Commander Erwin Smith I know more about Levi then you think."

"Try me."

"He was a thug in the underground, his best friends are all dead, the love of his life murdered in the the underground, Farlan Church and Isabelle Magnolia killed by titans on their first expedition, Levi is stone cold now when he used to show some emotion. His parents are dead, he was raised by his uncle Kenny. He was sent to kill you and failed at his task, joining the survey corps instead of spending his life in a cell. Is that enough for you?"

"How do you know so much?"

"Because me and Mori are from the underground. Tomorrow I will allow Hange to run some experiments then I shall show you what all I can do as for now I shall sleep. Goodnight Cammander."

He left and he shut the door. I got undressed, took off my coat and dirty clothes. Looking at the dresser my stuff was there. I got my bag and got out my pjs, then I got out my father's journal. While I was with him he wrote some more as he observed me. I laid down and started to read the notes as I slowly fell asleep.

Petra P.O.V.

I went into my room after talking about the upcoming expedition, and when I walked in I saw someone in the other bed. I went over to see who it was. It was a girl, it looked like she was reading something before she fell asleep she was very beautiful. Looking at her closer I think she's the girl they caught today I guess we are sharing a room. Her blanket has moved and her shirt has slid up, there was something on her waist, she has a tattoo... Wait I've seen that before...

"Hey Levi Whatcha doin?"

"Go away I'm busy."

I walked over and looked over his shoulder he was drawing something.

"Wow Levi that's amazing what is it?"

"None of your business."

"Oh come on I won't tell anyone."

He sighed. "It was tattooed on someone very important to me, can you leave now."

"Fine I'll leave but you have to tell me more about this important person later k?"

"Not likely."
