No load, no call or text. Just a phone filled with pictures, music, texts and some other stuff. I couldn’t interact with my phone. So my phone was just props.
I can’t believe Val! He joined this group of killing people and now he’s helping us. Good job, Olivete. Good job. I thought and exhaled.
Mariya went near me. “What did you do with Val?”
“Nothing,” I said.
Tracy went near, also. “Hala, alam na!”
“Shut up, Tracy. It’s not funny.” I opened my phone and looked for the funny picture of hers. “Anyways, I still didn’t delete that picture of yours.” I showed her the picture.
“Delete that!” Tracy jumped and jumped.
“No, I won’t.” I stick my tongue out.
“Cess!” Kristina screamed from afar.
“Where are you?” I asked.
“I’m in the other hallway!”
“I’ll meet you there.” I looked at Mariya and Tracy. “We need to talk to Krisa.”
“What for,” Mariya asked.
“It’s an important thing.”
“Go by yourself.” Tracy said meanly. “Run along now.”
I ran straight to the other hallway.
“Hey, wait!” Tracy screamed.
I turned around.
“We’ll go with you!” Mariya told me.
I looked back and continued to run the opposite direction of Mariya and Tracy.
“You’re so mean, Cess!” Tracy yelled.
I didn’t mind those people. All I did was run.
Finally, I reached the classroom. I opened the door and saw Krisa and Nicole inside.
“Cess,” Kristina gripped my shoulders. “You made it!”
“Of course I made it!” I told Kristina.
“Thank heavens, you’re alive.” Nicole said. She looked down and smiled.
“What’s wrong, Nicole?” Kristina asked Nicole.
“Val kept his word.” She looked at Kristina with her eyes only and her face is looking downward.
I walked towards Nicole. “Val loves you.” I took the present. “Here, he gave this just for you.”
I handed the present to her. She was walking towards a chair and sat. When she opened the present, she gasped happily. She closed the box and kept it in her bag. She stood up and looked for something. She kept on searching everywhere, quietly. She didn’t ask any help but she just dashed and looked for something.
“Nicole, can you tell us what you are looking for so we can help you.” Kristina told Nicole with her arms crossed.
“Okay, I’m looking for the bag of Val.” Nicole answered.
“What? To give him a bring back present?” I asked Nicole.
“No, I’m looking for it because he demanded me to look for his bag and study his paper.”
I wanted to ask something to Nicole. Finally, I had the courage to ask her. “What’s in the-”
“Found it!” Krisa screamed.
