NICOLE'S POV
Well that should give me a fuck. I mean, what could be worse that an enemy coming to school just to watch the practices? Look. We’re the only students that practiced in both morning and afternoon. The others: they’re still coming. No wonder that they’re only attending the practice in the afternoon. It’s just weird. If they want to perfect a practice, they must also attend the morning. So far, Krisa is good in making pranks. Tracy and I are attending Kumon. Mariya and Princess are the best trash talkers. And “ting” goes the light bulb in my mind.
We are in the classroom, thinking of a plan to stop Andie Landie in destroying our dance presentation so that her sister can win the dance. That fucking girl, who really doesn’t know how to fit in the world, awww, poor little girl, well, that’s a fuck for her.
Maxine and Geline are here. Good grief. Now that Max and Farsha (that’s how I call Geline, sometimes) are here, someone can help us on how can we stop Andie.
“Geline, Maxine,” I called them. “Come here.”
“What is it?” Maxine asked.
I heard laughter in the hallway. It was Andrea’s laugh. “SCREENSHOT.”
“Ugh! Andrea, you’re so dead to me!” Maxine wailed and ran towards Andrea.
I went outside just to look where they are going. Oh, they’re just going downstairs, chasing each other, I don’t really know.
Geline joined me. “Alam mo? ‘Di ko talaga ma-gets yung mga dalawang iyon.”
I answered. “’Bat ka nagtatagalog?”
“Buwan ng wika ngayon eh! Nag i-ingles lang tayo para lang manalo tayo sa Best English Speaking Class. Nakakapanibago. Alam mo yun?”
She’s right why are we even speaking in English? Just to win some stupid contest? Still. This must be English.
“Well, I like it that way. This is the language in how I talk to my family.”
“Sige.” Geline said. “Ikaw bahala.”
I gave her a pity look.
“Fine! I’ll speak in English.” Geline said.
“Thank you, Farsha!” And I hugged her.
“Nicole.” Cess called.
I turned around. “What?”
“Kristina has the best plan already.”
“Let me see.” And I walked towards the door. “Are you coming Geline?”
“No.” She answered. “I’ll watch Andrea and Maxine chase each other. It’s kind of funny, though.”
“It’s all up to you.” Then I entered the classroom.
When I entered, Kristina showed the paper immediately. “So, what do you think?”
I studied it. “Uhhh, that’s pretty complex but I like it.”
“You really got it?” She asked.
I pointed something on the paper. “What’s that?”
She looked at the paper. “Where,”
I pointed at it again. “There.”
She looked at it with small eyes and it opened wider like she got it already. “Oh, that’s us, watching.”
“Okay. But why are the two there have something?”
“That’s you with the knife and me with the bow.”
