We are moving too fast with time,
Stop for a moment and think;
What life did you live for?
Moving so fast, you barely blink.
Have you ever seen a thunderstorm,
Just savoured its beauty as it is?
Have you ever bathed in the moonlight?
Or gave a newborn child a kiss?
Have you ever looked at the stars
And thought about the lives that might be there?
Have you ever walked on the sun soaked grass
Danced on them feet bare?
Have you ever seen the dog's loved eyes
Whenever you feed him right?
Have you ever seen a blind man's face
When he for first sees the light?
Have you ever seen how gently
A lover wakes his wife?
How a mother so carefully
Teaches how to handle a knife?
Have you seen how their faces glow
When their child first walks with shaky legs,
How the soldiers fight wars for us
Putting their lives at stake?
Have you seen their tears of joy
When they get the job of which they dreamed?
Or when their teams won,
They were so happy that they screamed!
To make a life we miss our own,
We run and forget to live.
Look around Sweets, and find the moments,
Before its too late to grieve.
