The next morning, I found a strange man in my father's room.
"Well, you are lovely." The man grinned.
"Thank you. Where is my father, the Sheriff of Nottingham. I'm his daughter..." I sweetly said to him.
The came close and played with my hair. "The Sheriff's daughter. Hmm."
Suddenly Guy rushed in. I didn't want to his face, so I stormed out of the door he came from.
Father is missing... There's a strange man in his room. I'm ignoring Guy.
Not knowing what to do, I found Allan. We were in front of the castle, talking to the other guards. The guards were charming, very sweet.
"Allan!" Guy shouts, rushing to us.
Allan left me with the guards while he talked to Guy.
"You must look like your mother because you look nothing like the Sheriff." A guards laughed.
I gave him a smile. "I do look like my mother."
"My Lady, come with me." Guy coldly orders me.
I scoffed. "Why?"
"My Lady, come with me, so I can keep you safe." Gisborne looks me right in the eyes. It felt like he cased a spell over me.
I followed him. Guy took me to a room with a fire going. There was a long table and many candles on the wall.
"I keep myself safe. I don't need you to babysit me." I bitterly spat at him.
Guy grabbed my arm. "There was a time you have been happy to be with me." He seriously said, gritting his teeth.
"And there was a time you have let Marian die in that tree." I pulled myself away. Judging on his tight grip on my arm... There may be a bruise later.
Guy started to chuckle from annoyance. "Is this what it's been about? You've been avoiding me because Marian is on my mind... When I told you that I loved you. I meant it. So... I'm sorry if I still care for Marian. I'm sorry, Sirena."
"No. You saved Marian. If I was up in a tree..." I had to stop and hold the tears back for a second. "Would you do the same? Would you save me, hold me, and tell me everything will be fine. Everything will be fine because I've got you. Would you risk your life for me? Hmm? You see, you love her, but she doesn't love you. I'm not going to be your backup plan." I went over to the door. "When you want me for me and not to fill your heart because Marian. You'll know where to find me."
I left, passing Allan in the hall.
"Wait here." He told the stable girl he was with. Allan ran after me. "Where are you going?"
"I'm going after my father."
"Not being funny, but that could be dangerous." Allan says.
"Good."
I went to my chambers and gathered some stuff. For some reason, my dagger was gone. I can't seem to find it.
"Where the HELL is that bloody thing!!!" I screamed, tearing my room apart.
"Looking for this?" A voice questioned from behind me.
Allan was standing at my door with my dagger in his hand.
"What are you doing here?"
"Sir Guy wants to you to leave Nottingham... Before Prince John's army gets here." Allan tells me.
"And where am I to go? Hmm? In the woods?"
"No. To Locksley. He wants you safe. You'll be safe there. I will take you to his home." Allan grabs some of my books and put them in my bag. "We have to go, now!"
"All what about you?"
"I'll be fine." Allan kissed my cheek.
Allan took me to Sir Guys home. I didn't want to be there. There servant was an older man, who brought me cookies while I read my books. Honestly, the house was kinda nice. It was roomy. I stayed up stairs, in the windowsill.
It was almost sunset and when sunset comes... that's when the Knights flatten Nottingham.
"Supper is done, my lady." The old man called up.
I went done stairs and ate. When I came back up stairs, I became tired. Since I wasn't going sleep in a dress and a corset, I went to Guy's closet.
"He has a alot of black and leather." I said, pulling out an under shirt. "This will do."
I took off my clothes and put on his shirt. Then I curled up with a book and blanket in the windowsill. In the middle of reading, I fell asleep.
I woke up to a loud clattering noise. Guy was taking off his clothes.
"Guy?" I said, getting up from the sill.
"Sirena." Guy breathed, hugging me. "I'm glad you're okay."
"I've been here almost all day... Allan brought me here." I pushed myself away. "You have no shirt on..."
"Does this make you uncomfortable?"
I bit my lip. "It makes me..." I have no clue of what I was going to say...
Guy took my hand and held it close to him. "Makes you what? Seeing you in my shirt makes me want to rip it off and kiss every inch of your body."
"And what about Marian?" I pulled my hand from his grasp. I don't know if I like where this going.
"Marian does not matter anymore. You understand me. I know you wanted to help me and that you felt something for me. Does that still exist?"
Back away and cleared my throat. "I'm not sure. You going back to Marian sure does cut deep."
Guy got down on his knees.
Great! We're going to have a repeat of the other day...
"I know and I'm sorry."
When Guy got done on his knees, I could smell something heavy on him. "Have you been drinking..?" I questioned him.
"Well, I've had a few drinks." He said, leaning back on his feet. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, Sirena." Guy started to sob. His head fell into his hands.
"Hey." I got on my knees. "It's fine... You're fine." I grabbed his hands. "Hey, Guy. I know I've been hard on you. And I'm sorry about that."
Guy looked me. His eyes were filled with tears and sadness. "Can you forgive me? I'll leave Marian alone... Just come back to me."
"I don't know if I can do that, Guy. But... I guess I can try..."
Guy wrapped his strong arms around me. "Thank you, Sirena."
I patted his back. "Yup. No problem."
What if Allan finds out about this... Whatever... This was... I hope he understands that it wasn't intentional. I didn't mean for Guy to start crying in my arms. I'm not sure what to think of it myself. It all was strange...
