So, here's Chapter 6 of 'The Princess Within Me'
Cedrick's P.O.V.
I woke up only to find out my whole body was aching. How did I slept in this position, not to mention that I was on a stool? If I remembered correctly, I was with Sarah yesterday and... Oh she didn't even bother to wake me up? How inconsiderate of her!
I went to her room and when I opened her door, I found out that she was sleeping comfortably; not on the bed but on the couch, in a sitting position.
A small smile crept out of my face because of her and her idiotic actions. I carried her towards the bed and laid her gently on it. I placed the duvet over her and I fixed the cushion beneath her head. I was about to leave when I saw photographs of her and her family scattered on the floor beside the couch. I picked up every single piece and I chuckled at one of them. It was a picture of Sarah when she was young. She was chubby that time and her hair was short. She was wearing a pink dress and black shoes.
"Well, so much for a girl who doesn't want to wear dresses." I whispered to myself. I grabbed the photo and kept it in my pocket then I left her room.
With those pieces of paper, I found out what kind of family Sarah had before. They were close and you can sense that they loved one another very much. She must've felt sad when they parted ways due to our marriage.
I went to the bathroom to take a bath. Afterwards, I grabbed a duffle bag from the closet and I placed some clothes in it. I called Mr. Sanders to prepare my car then I returned to Sarah's room.
Surprisingly, she was still deep in her slumber and it was eleven o' clock already. I dropped my bag on the floor then I approached her.
"Hey Sarah, wake up! It's almost noon already so get up!" I demanded as I shook her body. She just murmured some words then she returned to sleep.
"Hey, I said get -" She cut me off by throwing a pillow at me which landed on my face. Just great.
An evil thought popped out of my mind which caused me to grin. I carried her towards the bathroom then I placed her in the shower stall. I adjusted the heater to cold then I turned the knob to the right. Water began to flow and when it finally touched her, she woke up then she jumped up and down. I laughed like a maniac then I noticed that she was already crying.
"Why? Are you scared of water?" I asked playfully.
"No, but don't you know that the water is freezing cold?" She began to hit me on the chest and tears continuously streamed down her face. "You're really a jerk! Bastard! Ass -" I hugged her then I mouthed an 'I'm sorry' which really came from my heart. She continued to say some profanities but I didn't understand anything because her head was pinned on my chest.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know that it will affect you so much but I promise that I will never do it again." I apologized. She gave me a weak smile then she looked at me awkwardly. I realized that I was still hugging her so I decided to let go. I scratched the back of my head then motioned her to take a bath already.
I was about to leave then suddenly she called my name. I turned around and I gave her a you - may - continue look.
"Why did you wake me up?" She asked. I forgot that I still didn't tell her my motive.
