"Miss Adams seemed to have got into a pretty bad car accident," another police officer told me while the doctor checked on Hayden.

"And he was driving?" I asked pointing to Michael.

"Yes ma'am he was." He said nodding.

"And he didn't get hurt at all? How is that?"

The police shrugged, "must have been luck miss. I've got to get back to my job, if you have any other questions you can come see me or ask the doctor."

I nodded and walked back into the room with Hayden, "is she doing any better?"

"She's still in critical condition, however we are taking her into surgery in a moment. I'm going to need you to wait outside, we'll come for you after and immediately update you on her position."

I smiled at the doctor, annoyed that he said I had to leave. I didn't want to leave Hayden's side. I walked closer to her and whispered into her ear, then I showed myself the way out to the waiting room.

My eyes were heavy from the lack of sleep, I could only imagine the bags sagging under my eyes.

My head began to pound when I felt a hand grab my arm from behind. I whipped around expecting to see the doctor or Ezra but instead I was met with the brown eyes of Michael.

My anger immediately took over any tiredness I had grown within the past hours.

I started to boil with anger, and began to see red. The nerve he has.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" I whisper-yelled.

"I- how's Hayden?" He asked nervously.

"Un-fucking-conscious thanks to you!"

He sighed, "Delilah I didn't mean to hurt Hayden I was just angry and I-"

I cut off the asshole, "Listen to me, Michael, I don't give a fuck if you were angry or not. If Hayden hits a worser state, even fucking by a tiny bit, I will fucking kill you. I will spend the rest of my life locked up just to make sure you don't even fucking get to live one."

My breathing hitched, and a few people who were in the room with us exited.

"Get the hell out of here, Hayden doesn't want you here. Nobody wants you here. Get the hell away." I yelled.

Michael cautiously stared at me, not knowing what to say. His mouth gaped open, until he finally closed it, turned on his heel and walked away.

I let out a long sigh of relief and sat in a chair. I placed my temple into my hand and closed my eyes.

Why does Hayden even bother with that guy?

Matter of fact why does she bother with any guy?

Guy.. Ezra.. Ezra!

My eyes flew open as my hand searched for my phone. Damn it. I left it.

I couldn't leave, but I also didn't want to leave in the apartment wondering what happened.

I pushed myself to stand up, but immediately fell back into the chair with the lack if energy I had.

Groaning I decided to try and sleep, which for me would be hard. This chair was uncomfortable, my mind was running, and I hated the thought of people seeing me sleep.

But I soon dozed off, shutting my mind up for a minute.

Hayden's nose scrunched up as she stared at me, "what the hell?"
