"Ben I'm so excited about your engagement!"

"About that —"

"Chewie! Luke! Matt! Ben is engaged!"

He groaned as he heard the excited shouts come from the phone.

"Ben they're so excited! We all can't wait to see you and your fiancé Rey!"

"Yeah. I'm excited too."

"Also what were you going to tell me?"

"Uh nothing. Goodbye mother, love you."

He hung up the phone and groaned. What will he tell Rey? Hopefully she would forget.

"Hey Ben?"

"Yeah?"

"Did you tell your mother?"

"Tell her what?"

"About how we aren't engaged?"

"Um about that —"

"Ben! What did you do?"

"Well I tried to tell her but instead of listening she told Matt, Luke, and Chewie. Knowing her she's going to tell the whole family!"

"Your point?"

"I couldn't tell her. She seemed so excited."

"Ben —" Rey shook her head. "You have to tell her."

"I know, I will."

"Okay good, when is she coming?"

"In 47 days."

"What?! Well you better tell her soon! I don't want her rounding up your whole family."

"Don't worry I'll do it."

"Good."

Ben smiled as he leaned forward and kissed her cheek.

"I'm going to hang out with Hux. I promise to you that it'll be the first thing I do tomorrow."

"Okay thank you."

"I love you."

"Love you too Ben."

He walked out the door smiling.

"So your mom and your family think you and Rey are engaged?"

"Yeah."

"See Ben? That's why I do tell my family things. I haven't told them about my life in years." He smirked. "They still think I'm a virgin who works at a small bookstore."

Ben shook his head. "It may be easy for you but not for me. I don't know how to break it to her! Rey keeps telling me to but I don't know how!"

"Well you have to do it soon. We don't want an upset girlfriend do we?"

"Good. Problem solved, you call your mom tell her it was a lie."

"It's not that easy!"

"Stop being a mamas boy and do it Ben! Do it for Rey!"

"Since when are you on Rey's side?"

Hux shrugged. "Since I learned the wrath of an angry girlfriend." He suffered. "Never make them mad, especially Phasma."
