Beyoncé

I pushed the doors of the large building open embracing the warm weather. That was my last class for this week and I was off. I couldn't wait to get home so I could see my baby. I changed my mind on the daycare thing because it's way too expensive and I have a live in babysitter at home already plus mama g.

I got into my car backing out and speeding off. As soon as I pulled up to a stoplight, my phone dinged letting me know someone just texted me.

Since I was at a red light I looked at it and saw 'bestfriend😘😊' I rolled my eyes looking at the text. I hadn't seen him in almost a week.

Bestfriend😘😊: Can we meet up somewhere?

Bey:😍🍑👑: for what?

Bestfriend😘😊: so we can talk I miss you

Bey😍🍑👑: I'm busy

I'm actually free for the rest of the week but he didn't need to know that because he would be annoying me my whole break. I wanted relaxation with my baby not him being obnoxious.

Bestfriend😍🍑👑: no you not meet me at Aunt Lucy's in 10

I didn't  get a chance to respond because the light turned green. I wouldn't have known what to say anyway so I left it alone. I took my sweet ole time getting there. I even stopped at Starbucks and got me a grande passion tea lemonade.

When I finally got there I headed inside the almost empty diner and immediately spotted Shawn. He was looking down playing with his half full drink so he didn't see me. I took off my glasses walking over and clearing my throat letting him know I was there. He looked up and got up.

"Beyoncé..." He studied my face.

"You told me to come here just do you could remind me what my name was?" I raised an eyebrow. He looked confused.

"What? Never mind. Look, can you just sit down?" I sighed before sitting down. We stared at each other for a while before I got fed up.

"So what do you want?"

"Well, I don't know. I actually thought you weren't going to show up considering I asked you to come in ten minutes and that turned into forty." He slightly laughed but I kept a straight face. I honestly just wanted to go home and play with Jordan. Seeing him made me hot with both anger and desire. Anger that he wasn't mine and therefore I couldn't have him. And desire.... Well, he was looking extra good today with his fresh cut and moisturized lips.

"Um, I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry for crossing the line with that kiss. I guess I was just hurt about Aaliyah possibly cheating on me and wanted to get back at her." I knew that kiss was nothing. It felt so good, almost right, but it isn't. It disappointed me knowing he only thought of it as trying to get back at someone. That was part of the reason I decided to avoid him.

"Is that all?"

"Do you forgive me? Can you please forgive me?" He said with a playful tone but I knew he was serious. His hands held mine from across the small coffee table. He looked at me with his big brown eyes and a pouty face that reminded me so much of a child's that I had to laugh.

"Fine."

"Wait. You forgive me?"

"Yes, I forgive you."

"That was easier than I thought."

"Would you had liked for me to say no?"
