I walked down the hallway and into the living room to see Kelly and Jordan all cuddled up together watching tv. Well he wasn't really watching tv more like looking all over the place. I walked over to Kelly and flicked her head only for her to slap me in my ass.

"You sure you're not into girls?" I mumbled as sat on the couch. Jordan immediately crawled into my lap.

"Only for you bey." She responded. I shook my head at her stupid self.

"So what are we doing today?" She said after a few moments of silence.

"I don't know. I don't have school or work so we can do anything." I shrugged rubbing my fingers through Jay's curls.

"We can go to the movies?"

"I don't know about that. You know how Jordan is. He gets restless easy and starts to move around after a while."

"You right. How about Jump Street?"

"Probably not. Too many kids and he just got better from being sick. How about we just go to the pool?"

"Great. When do we leave?"

"I say around two give or take so we can be back early. You know that new episode of Power is coming out today."

"Girl I'm the one who put you onto that show."

"Ok. Do you want a cookie?" I rolled my eyes. She get on my nerves with that shit. Always wanna get credit off something.

"F you." She turned to walk away.

"I'm sorry but I don't go that way, boo." She stuck up her middle finger at me still walking. I laughed her off.

We all got dressed and left out the house by 1:30 . The whole long ride we listened to Kanye new album ' The life of Pablo '. Kanye and J. Cole are my favorite rappers alongside Tupac.

The pool near the apartment was open and not very crowded surprisingly. Thank goodness for that because I wasn't trying to deal with somebody's bad ass kids all day. As I looked around, I was reminded of the times my own family would go out and do stuff like this for fun. I remember one time when we went to the beach in Galveston, Texas on a mini road trip.

"Beyoncé, Solange slow down!" My father yelled only a few feet away from us two. Ignoring him we ran straight on the rubbery sand that squished in between our toes and into the water with a big splash. Giggling with satisfaction we attempted grabbing the water and throwing it at each other.

Solo only being five, I took on the responsibility for making sure she didn't drown or get hurt. It had been like that since she was born and I didn't plan on it ever ending.

"Thuthu look." She slammed her hands onto the water making a clapping sound and laughed.

"I see the water."

"We go to water?"

"No we can't go too far. We have to stay right here."

"Ok." I know solo and I know that she's gonna try and go anyway. That's just how she was even at such a young age.

We made sand castles and buried ourselves with sand. Of course we would be finding little sand grains everywhere for the next couple of days but I didn't care. We were at the beach almost completely surrounded by water.
