We around the apartment we're looking at now. This is the fourth one and I'm tired of walking around. I really wish Shawn would make up his mind so I can get some food and go home. Speaking of him he's been acting really dry with me since the incident last month. The house seemed nice and large enough for Jay and his daughter. It was a townhouse apartment for two families so it had an upstairs and downstairs. And a pool in the center of all of the townhomes. I wondered how he could afford this sense he only told me he worked in construction.

"And here's the living room. Nice and spacious for you and your future children. I'm guessing you and and your girlfriend are searching for a home together." She looked at me smiling.

"Oh no, I'm not his-" Shawn cut me off.

"And how many bedrooms are in this house again?" I mugged him hard. He knew what he was doing cutting me off mid-sentence and he wasn't slick. He avoided eye contact with me focusing entirely on the real estate agent .

"There are three bedrooms along with one and a half bathrooms."

"That's great. More than enough room to move around. Even though this is an apartment ." He looked around the room smiling.

"Have you made your decision yet Mr. Carter?"

"Bey?" I'm surprised he even asked for my opinion. That was one of the very few things had said to me since we met up two hours ago. Barely talked to me at all.

"It's really nice. A lot of room." It was really nice. And there was a lot of room if it was going to be just him and Aniyah.

"Yeah, I'll take it." He finally said after a few moments of thinking.

"Perfect. You just need to sign a few papers and it's all yours." She smiled at us widely.

He signed everything he needed to sign before getting the keys. We said goodbye to the lady before walking out the front door.

"I like it."  He ignored me. I don't know why he took me with him if he was just going to act like I wasn't here.

"What's up with you?"

"What you mean?"

"You have barely said two words to since we met up. Is this about the kiss? Because if it is I thought we already cleared things up." He sighed opening the car door for me before walking to his own side and getting in.

"There's nothing up with me." He started the car up and drove off.

"Shawn I know you. There's something wrong with you. Now tell me what's up."

"You hungry?"

"Don't try to change the subject." He never answered instead he pulled up into a Outback Steakhouse. He got out but never opened my door. I scoffed before getting out and following him.
