Hello, sorry for not uploading yesterday, I had to go to a friends birthday where I had to paint children's faces :3 And didn't have my laptop with me, so I was like NUUUUUUUUUUUUU. ><

Skylar POV
Last period went by quickly after that, and the walk from school wasn't that bad with Kyle there talking to me on the way. I enjoyed the company, I never really allowed myself to have proper friends, I suppose we're friends. I hope.
"So did you used to go trick or treating as a child?" He asked, scratching the side of his neck as we continued to walk.
"O-oh, well I can't really remember.. I liked to go to party's when I was little, because there are horrible photos of me dressed up .. you?" I smiled at the faint memory of me dressed up as a lady bug that one time, everyone cooing at me for the whole evening.
"All the time. I kinda stopped when I was 12, everyone just thinking I was there to make sure my sister didn't get lost so I got no candy." I turned to look at him with a sad face.
"Awh, that's kind of adorable. And so unfair." I tried to then keep a straight face, but te pout that he had put on was breaking me. It took only three seconds before I broke out in laughter as I pulled my key out from my pocket and unlocked the front door, allowing him in before me.
"Quit laughing! It was a serious issue back then!" He stomped his foot like a six year old and pouted even more, causing me to almost fall over from laughter.
"O-okay okay.. I-I'll stop.." I managed between gasps for breath as I looked up at him smiling down at me. He placed his bag down and slipped his shoes off before he followed me deeper into the house. "There's the living room, do you want anything to eat, drink?" I asked from the kitchen.
"Water, please" He went and sat down, looking at a few of the pictures than lined the walls. I came in with two glasses, setting them down on the coffee table and sitting down next to him as I switched on the tv.
"What do you wanna watch?" I didn't move my gaze from the screen as I searched through the content of our recorded programmed/films.
"Nightmare before Christmas?" He half asked, half said. His voice was hopeful, like he was exited to watch it.
"Sure" I searched through the films, stopping at N and going slightly slower then finding it and pressing play. I glanced at the clock, seeing it was only half five.
I knew that the younger trick or treaters would show up in only about half an hour to an hour, so I stood up and went into the kitchen, grabbing a bowl full of treats and placed it by the door, keeping our inside door open slightly so I would be able to hear the children knock.
I was so engrossed in the movie that when the first knock came I jumped slightly, causing Kyle to laugh.
"You getting it?" He asked, watching me for a moment.
"Y-yeah, I got it." I stood up shakily at first, just calming myself down before I opened the door, seeing all the little children dressed up. There were about six of them, two girls and four boys. One of the girls was dressed up as a princess, how normal. The other however was a cat. Better, but still far to used throughout the world. Two of the boys at the back were dressed as zombies, fake blood dripping down their faces as they stared up at me. One of them was a vampire. Their costume was okay I guess, looking more like they had made it rather than bought it from the shop. I suppose they get more points for that. The last kid was a werewolf. Yes. That kid won.
What? I'm not being prejudice just because I was a werewolf. Okay perhaps I am.
"Trick or Treat!" They excitedly held out their bags that were filled with sweets, and I placed each treat individually into their bags. They walked on, going to the house next door. I breathed in the chilly air and stayed at the door as a few more came, a boy my age stood at the end of the path with a little girl clinging to him, looking scared.
When the others had moved on they came closer, I recognized him. Zane. He was dressed in all black, with his face painted as a skull. The girl was wearing blue cat ears and tail, her hair sprayed blue with a Cheshire cat smile painted upon her lips.
"Trick or Treat" She squeaked, more like the mouse than the cat. I smiled down at her and gave her a little more than the others got. She was adorable. I looked back up to Zane who was smiling also, watching me.
"Happy Halloween, Sky." He hugged me, and this time I let him, accepting his hug and hugging him back.
"Happy Halloween" I smiled when he pulled back, just looking at how detailed his face paint was. I was so tempted to kiss him, and lordy I was fighting my wolf so bad. I glanced up at the moon that was just visible, almost a full one. Damn. I was brought back when he spoke.
"See you tomorrow" He smiled and leaned in, kissing my cheek gently. I watched in awe as he took the little girls hand and led her next doors, still frozen in my spot. My hand went up to my cheek, seeing if any of his paint had rubbed off. None. Why was I so phased at him kissing my cheek? He'd kissed my forehead before, why was a cheek any different?
Zane POV
I smirked as I left her stood on her porch, stood still staring into space at what I just did. It was so fun to tease her, see her struggle to fight er wolf.
Tomorrow..
Even I began to find it hard now. Full moon was almost upon us, and it took most of my strength to not mark her then and there. No. I can't do that just yet.. To make it special I must wait.
One more day..
My wolf was pacing back and forth when I got back with Evaline, my aunt thanking me and went home with her.
"So hun what do you want for dinner?" My mom asked, standing in the kitchen. I shrugged and walked in, sitting on one of the chairs at the table and resting my head upon it.
"Mate troubles?" She asked. She knew me so well.
"Not necessarily troubles. I'm stubborn and waiting until tomorrow, and my wolf is going crazy because of it." I sighed and looked up at her. She looked so young.
She smiled and sat down in the chair next to mine, facing me. "Have you tought that maybe she's waiting too? That could be a reason why you can't do anything yet, because she doesn't want you to." She had truth in her words.
"Perhaps your right, but tomorrow, even if she doesn't want it, I don't think I will be able to stop myself. I feel ill just holding back my wolf so close to the full moon." I groaned and flicked my head at my own stupidity.
"Aww honey. If you like you can have tomorrow off, it saves the chance of you accidentally doing anything to her while in school that could get you in trouble. You can decorate the house instead. I'm sure Annie will pick up some of your work and bring it back with her." She patted my back gently, then went to the fridge.
"Thanks, mom" I mumbled into the table, not caring if I smudged my face paint. I knew she heard me, she didn't even need to say anything else, just leave it there.
