I opened my mouth, almost said something. Almost. The rest of my life might have turned out differently if I had. But I didn't.

"Newt, honey, your friend's here!" Newt's mother called out from downstairs and stood at the small carpet, at buttom of the large wooden stairs , her hands -which with one she was holding a big spoon that the tip of it was filled with chocolate- resting at her hips. Then, her attention was turned to the teenager waiting by the front door, her look immediately softening. "Minho dear can I get you something to drink?" The brunette woman spoke, starting go mix the ingredients that laid inside the big bowl.

"No need miss C!" The Asian boy shook his head gently then placed his hand on his stomach, indicating that he was full from lunch. One of the possitives things about Minho? He always told the truth, no matter how harsh, rude, or even bitter it may sound to the person standing before him, and that was something that both Newt, and his family. "You got me filled from lunch. Your cooking always gets the best of me."

"And you're sure you can go swimming like that? Full like an bloody enormous human balloon?" Sonya, Newt's older sister by one year interrupted leaning on the hallways's wall as her lips formed an rather satisfied smirk while holding her baby sister Natalia at her hands. "If I we're you, I'd be afraid that maybe the waves would lead me into the Seaworld that I'm sure you'd be kicked out from." She retorted, her eyes rolling in annoyance, that caused an irritated scoff coming out of Minho.

"I wouldn't worry about myself much, but in your case... let's hope that waves will be gently as far as you are concerned." The asian threw back, raising his middle finger towards the dirty blonde female that just sticked her tongue out and dragged her finger across her neck, to indicate that Minho was already an lost case. And what would that mean? That she would maybe consider slaying him at his sleep at his staying at the Isaac house. However to his reassurance, the school's wouldn't take far from a couple of days to open again, so that their start on the 11th grade would start. Therefore, if he was a little bit of cautious towards Sonya, maybe he'd get to start the new school year with all his body members. "Anyhow, where's Newt? We need to get headed towards the beach, otherwise it will be full with people soon."

"Newt!" His mother yelled for him for once again and almost immediately, an thin boy with messy dirty blond hair fell from the stairs and landed into the ground with a big thud. From h his appearance and his also messy hair, you could tell that the boy had a hard time putting on his clothes, let alone going down the stairs. And the stairs, to newt's opinion, were only the top of the iceberg.

"Newtiee!" Natalya instantly jumped off Sonya's arms and ran up to her older brother pulling him in a tight embrance as her arms were wrapped around the boy's neck, an embrance that Newt had a hard time not to return. And in addition, he messed his sister's hair, an action that caused a giggle from the younger girl's part. "When is your leg going to heal so we can go sways?" The 8 year-old girl asked, her blue eyes that she had inherited from her mother snanning over Newt's thin figure as if to detect lies.

The blonde boy gave her one of his brightest smiles, one he didn't have to force for once and stood up at his feet picking Natalya up to his arms then looked straight at her eyes. "Soon. I promise you. Till then, we can always play Monopolis inside the house." Newt assured, and once feeling his left leg about to give him away he let the little blonde down giving her a light push, in order for her to head towards her mother, whose smile had dropped once mentioning Newt's damaged leg.

Truth to be told, it wasn't easy for an mother to watch her own Child going through a living hell, an individual war that was happening inside his head and not being able to help, not in the slightest. Sure the doctor had promised that the anti-depressionate pills should do the work, keep his mind into an catastaltic state, but for how much more could he live addicted to pills? Not much. So, Newt had started to ocassionaly not take his pills, trying to get himself un-addicted. And that worked. Plus, as long as he had his friend, Minho with him, the thoughts were miles away from his mind.
