I walked through the door with you. The air was cold; but something about it, made me feel like home, somehow.

(Several hours earlier)

The room was cold when Thomas first woke up which sent an shiver ran through the boy's spine and curl up more inside his already warm blanket. However, Thomas was raised with some believes, mostly from his father. Well, not exactly believes, more like ideas; If the day was cold, then it wasn't going to be an good day. Plus, his stomach felt like twisting; up and then down and then all the way up and down again. More reasons to bottle up as to why, he shouldn't even think of going in that God damn school at the first place.

Suddenly the already familiar crack of his bedroom door opening made Thomas flinch and wrinkle his nose however kept his eyes closed, being drifted out of the quick dream that he was seeing.

"Colin?" He mumbled his voice low and soft as he tossed the blanket off from his head, letting the cold air hit him.

His mother that had previously entered at her son's room to check whether her son had gotten up for his first day at the school, froze at her tracks, gulping at the sound of the other boy's name. Oh how she hated that name along with the person that carried it with him. From the first day that her son brought him in the house, she disliked him. Not only because she just then figured out that her son was gay, but also because she immediately disliked the boy with the wide smirk. But to tell the truth, the fact that her son was gay was hard to shallow, therefore she wouldn't speak to him for 2 months, especially when that demon as she called Colin was inside the house, let alone her son's room.

"Tom?" Cassie, Thomas' mother spoke, then moved close to her son, sitting besides him at the bed, as she then started to caress his forehead and part of his hair. "Colin left last night, shortly after... you know."

The statement made Thomas' eyes fly open, his head ubruptly turning towards his mother. Not with anger of course, he hardly ever had yelled at her; with shock. "Mom, I'm an adult and therefore my sex life-"

"Yes, yes, I know." Cassie nodded her head, momentary stopped caressing Thomas' forehead. "You're an adult. And as an adult you have to get up and go to the school you're going to be teaching for now long, as an mean to prove that you're ready to take up your responsibilities." She spoke sharply, but her eyes betrayed her as they were soft, literally full with warmness and love, something that he adored.

"I can't go to the school, I feel my stomach twisting, the air is cold which means bad luck, and I can't even get out of the bed!" Thomas exclaimed, adding a bit of a cough in the end.

Cassie definitely didn't seem to bite the act that her son was that nicely playing in front of her and therefore she got up, her hands folding across her chest, as she eyed Thomas from head to toe, that was now covered with his blanket that he had ever since he was little. An blanket that he still hadn't let go off. An blanket that his father had given to him as an present. However, it was time for her to play her last card; something that she was counting on getting Thomas up to his feet in no time.

"I made pancakes covered in chocolate; Your favourite."

Once hearing that, Thomas immediately jumped up to his feet and hugged his mother, kissing her cheek quickly before going downstairs and instantly consuming the containt of the plate that was laying on his part of the table. Once down, the brunette boy went up to his room and then went through his closet to pick out an outfit of clothes that he would use. Once he found the perfect teacher outfit; an white shirt with an black vest but also black jeans and suitable shoes, he waved his mother out of the room so that she would get dressed. The older woman gave her son an pride look then exited the room, closing the door behind her.
