Dear Connor,
Sad to say, this is the last letter.
I was just about to delete my Gmail the other day when I suddenly had the urge to log on and read over some of my emails and chats.
Once I logged on, a flashing green signal appeared on the bottom right corner of the screen immediately, and I huffed impatiently. Who was it now?
Connor: Rose, are u alright? :(
Rose? He dared to still call me Rose. I wouldn't even tolerate my closest friends calling me Rose, but a mere stranger (you didn't deserve to be called a friend) like you? Hah. What a joke.
Still, my fingers trembled over the "X" button, and I shut my eyes, debating over what I should do.
I clicked the "X".
It tugged at my heartstrings, but I couldn't do it anymore.
I watched the chat number rise up from one to ten to twenty.
But it was too late.
You made your mistake, and now you have to pay for it.
Was it me who didn't deserve you, or was it you who didn't deserve me, I wonder.
My fingers strayed at the side of the keyboard, but they never moved to the keys.
Slowly, I took a deep breath and closed out the window.
My expression hardened.
See, Connor, it was this incident that made me the way I am today, tough as nails. Sure, I possess natural physical strength, but most importantly, it was you and Austin, heck, I'll even add in Hannah and Lily and Jasmine, that made me stronger.
My heart is now blocked by an iron fence, hard to penetrate, but waiting for someone to have the guts to do it.
Because of you. I am just a dying, withering rose.
Not even.
From today on, I am just Rosaline, once again.
Will anybody come water my petals, and give me life again?
As long as you are still on this world, I believe not.
I hope you're happy now.
Bitter,
Rosaline
~~~Noo this is the last letter :(( Yup, not the best ending, but I pretty much wrote all of these letters at 11pm at night, so my brain may not have been functioning correctly. XD
