Sickness

Hey guys I'm  finally back with another chapter, finally got time on my hands and decided to do some chapters throughout the whole week. Thank you guys for being so patient with me. Without further a do lol let's start this chapter.

Few days have passed since the event occurred in Makani Island, my little brother and I have never been this close before now that we share something so special. We were in the middle of classes and my mom starts coughing, she had that nasty cough ever since she came back from getting those materials. Probably catch a cold along the way.

"Alright Lua I might have to end class a little early, my throat hurts too much to keep going" Mom stated as she was closing her biology book.

"Is alright mom don't worry about it, we will continue tomorrow" I got up from my seat and quickly put my arm around her waist and her hand on my shoulder. "You just go and get a well deserve long rest ok?"

"Thank you baby, I think I'll make myself a honey tea before getting a little nap." She said as she started walking towards the kitchen.

"Alright momma I'll just play for a little with Kev" I quickly turned around towards the play area and see Kevin playing with some action figures. I kneeled down beside him and start playing with him.

"Hey Lua can we go play with the Orcas later?" Kevin whispered to me.

"Yeah can't wait for tha-..." I got cut off by a sound of glass breaking from hitting the ground. My brother and I looked back slowly scared of what might have happened. I got up and started walking slowly towards the kitchen followed by Kev.

"Mom?" I called out but no response "Mom?" I tried one more time calling out for her as I walk towards the kitchen slowly, but still no answer. Kev and I go inside the kitchen and see the broken tea cup on the floor followed by our mother's body laying on the floor.

"MOM?!" Kev and I yelled out in unison.

"Kev quickly go get me the home phone to call grandma" I gave him instructions as I try shaking and waking up mom.

"Here Lua" I quickly grabbed the phone and dialed grandma's phone number. It's starting to ring but grandma taking too long to answer.

:Heeellooo: My grandmother answered in her cheerful voice

:Grandma is me Lua, there's something wrong with mom:

:Why? What Happened sweetie?:

:Me and Kevin were playing in the game room and we heard glass shattering on the floor when we came to the kitchen we found mom on the floor. I tried shaking her and calling out for her, but she doesn't respond. What do I do grandma? I'm scared!:

:What? Okay stay calm baby call for the local doctor I'm heading down there with grandpa, we'll get there as soon as we can:

:Okay grandma: I hang the phone quickly dialing for the local doctor
