Start of something new

Hey everybody. I'm back with a new chapter, hope you guys enjoy it. I would like to dedicate this chapter to these two amazing girls that I have become good friends with and they have helped me through the chapters of Orca Harbor. layd33_Zana go read her story "Silvery Touch" and AreumHana29 go read her book "Different World". They're both amazing books that are attention getting and also amazingly written and unique, Vote & comment nicely. Thanks for tuning in.

Now back to the story.

The month of April had passed, meaning me and Kevin birthdays already passed making him 6 and me 10 now. We are separated by four years but it was lucky how we were born the same month.

" Okay, I'll be back with more materials and books for the both of you for classes. You guys are good to grandma okay?" Mom was picking her stuff from the dining table. We just nod at her promising to be good.

"Well, she's late as always. I'll start heading out you guys stay indoors till she gets here okay?" She said as she was heading out the door.

"Okay, mom love you," I and Kevin said in unison. It didn't take grandma that long to get home. As soon as she was inside the house quickly she gave gifts that she knitted herself. Of course being good grandkids we put them on so she doesn't feel bad no matter how ugly or itchy it is. We played few games like UNO and Trouble till then it was only 12:30 PM. I and Kevin were bored out of our minds we had done all the activities that grandma had the plan and she was already falling asleep on the couch watching one of her soap operas on the television. Then my light bulb turned on, what if we sleep over at Makani Island with the orcas, but I can't leave poor Kevin by himself bored. I'll take him, it will be difficult explaining to Anchor but I'll do my best.

"Grandma, may Kevin and I sleepover a friends house?" I stood up grabbing hold of Kevin's forearm so he would get up with me. She simply looked at me and nod.

"Sure, but be careful okay. Be good house guest okay sweetie" She was slowly closing her eyes.

"will do grandma" I pulled Kevin upstairs and into his room.

"C'mon bro get your camping gear we are going to Makani Island" I opened the door to go to the basement to get the camping net and supply that we might need for the night.

"Wait.. wait why Makani Island? I'm so confused" He tried to stop me

"Don't worry you'll see. Just, for now, say we are going to a friends house okay. Oh, and you have to promise you'll keep this a secret okay? It is very important. " I explained he looked at me a little scared but nod slowly. I went to my room gather some clothes then headed towards the basement to gather some equipment. Once we were ready I grabbed Kevin's hand and started walking out.

"Bye grandma see ya tomorrow" I yelled out but our grandmother was knocked out. So we just continued our ways towards the harbor.

"Wait. Wait how are we even going to get to Makani Island? We don't even have a boat. Who do you know over there? Are we seriously going to be by our self out there?" Kevin asked freaking out.

"Bro calm down. I know what I'm doing. Besides your going to meet who live over there you'll have a blast" I reassured him so he would stay still and calm.

"Who do you even know that lives on that deserted island?" Once again with the questions, but on quo, I saw two dorsal fins come out of the water. I simply smiled at him and kept looking forward. He started looking the same direction as I was looking a little freaked out. He then noticed the orcas.

"You can't be serious" He looked at me with the 'are you serious' look. In that moment, Splash and Friday did a spy hop in front of the harbor.
