*Smut warning

Phil's POV
My eyes widened in disbelief. I studied Dans flushed face for any regret. There was none and he began growing anxious as he awaited my answer.

Dan wanted to marry me.

Dan Howell just asked me to marry him.

Tears gathered in my eyes as I croaked out my reply. "Yes. Yes, of course!" I rammed into him at full speed and wrapped him up in a bear hug. Dan looked up at me with so much emotion that my tears threatened to spill. His cheeks were still tinted pink and his dark hair had fallen into his eyes.

I found my hands snaking up to his neck as I gazed at the beauty in front of me. I took note of every feature, every detail. His dimples deepened once he realized I was staring. Dan's nervous smile completely contrasted the happiness in his eyes. They looked so sure. I placed one hand on his cheek and closed the distance between us.

I hadn't realized he had started crying till I tasted the salt on his lips. I pulled away slightly to examine his state. Dan only looked confused before I swiftly wiped away his tears. I felt myself smile  again for what seemed like the millionth time before ghosting my lips over his once more.
"I love you." Dan let his gaze linger on my lips for a moment longer before looking up to meet my hopeful eyes.
"I love you more," he whispered. He gripped my chin firmly. His dark brown eyes glistened, reminding me of hot chocolate on a cold day.
"Impossible." I leaned in at the same time as he lifted my chin to meet my lips. Despite him being taller, he melted into me and felt rather small and vulnerable.

I cupped his jaw and kissed him slowly. Dan's tongue ran over my bottom lip, asking my permission to deepen the kiss. As great as our heated make outs were, I wasn't quite ready to give up this slow and steady kiss. It felt more passionate somehow. I kept my mouth shut but still managed to weave them through his. He whimpered beside me till I gave him what he craved.

Our tongues collided and I took to exploring his mouth. We stayed this way for minutes more before finally pulling away. Dan opened his eyes and smiled. After clearing his throat, he spoke up. "We should probably get back to dinner." I nodded eagerly and focused once again on the meal in front of me. I could feel Dan's eyes on me as I generously shoveled in a large amount of spaghetti, probably looking like someone who had eaten for the first time in the process. Before acknowledging him I savor we the taste and gave an appreciative hum. I looked back at him and caught him staring.
"What?" I spoke through a mouthful of food. My cheeks heated up, knowing what I probably looked like to Dan right now.

"I'm just happy." He piped up. "You look cute, by the way." Motioning towards the sauce dripping down from my chin. I blushed even harder at that and scrambled to quickly grab a napkin and clean myself up. "Sorry it's just really good." Now it was Dan's turn to blush. He darkened a shade as he registered my words.

------------------------------

After dinner we settled down in the living room to watch a movie. We had decided on a simple Disney movie. Dan had set up a sheet to cover us while I made the popcorn. I had walked in and found him still putting it together.

"Phil?" I looked up as I realized that I had completely spaced out. "Um, yeah?" I awkwardly scratched my neck.
"I asked if you wanted me to make another bag of popcorn." I looked at the bowl I was holding, noticing for the first time that I had eaten all of its contents. "Yeah, thanks," I sheepishly replied as I handed him the bowl. He returned a couple minutes later, though missing much of the movie in the process.
