Arianas pov
Brooklyn is now 1 and hopefully will take her first steps soon. She can say "daddy " and that's it. The Lynch's, Ratliff and Iona is coming over today, to visit Brooklyn and see how she is.
*5 mins later. In the living room.*
We've been talking for a while now. Brooklyn keeps crawling to Riker and saying "Daddy" I'm getting a little jealous.
"Ari what's wrong? You seem sad." Riker asked worryingly.
"Why are you the favourite?" I didn't think before I even said that. I quickly covered my mouth when I realised what I said.
" I'm not the favourite. Saying Daddy is easier than mommy. Don't worry she'll learn." I nodded.
Hmmm I've got an idea. If she can say daddy and is a daddies girl then maybe she'll walk to him..
"Riker hand me Brooklyn please and come and sit here." I pointed to the edge of the couch. Riker was confused but did what I said. I sat close but far (see what I did there ;) teen beach movie reference)
I carefully placed Brooklyn on her feet. "Ok Brooklyn walk to daddy!"
All the Lynch's watched in suspense so did Iona and Ratliff, waiting for something to happen.
I held Brooklyn's hand and... She did it! She took her very first steps in front of everyone!
