Chapter 2

Ms Stewart took the guitar from me and I stood up, straightening out my shirt. I was wearing a plain black tank with dark ripped skinny jeans and a worn out pair of vans. I really wish I had worn something nicer.

"Hi." I weakly waived at the boys standing before me. They had barely changed since the last time I seen them.

After a few minutes of speaking with the boys about myself, Luke announced that they wanted to adopt me.

I felt like I was going to pass out. They want to adopt me? I'm nothing special.

"Go gather your things, Bree, you'll be leaving today with the boys." Ms Stewart smiled at me. I felt like I was on cloud nine.

After an hour of the boys signing papers, I was sitting in the back of a large van with the boys. Michael and Ashton were asking me more questions than I could answer while Luke and Calum just sat back watching.

"What's your favorite shows?"

"What kind of music do you like?"

"Do you play more than just guitar?"

"What's your favorite foods?"

"Boys calm down, we have plenty of time to get to know her." Calum told the two. They say back with embarrassed faces but I just smiled at them.

Shortly after, we were pulling up to the house I once delivered milk to. I smiled at the memory. Who knew this would end up happening?

I grabbed my bag and followed the boys into the house. Inside it was somewhat clean, the occasional blanket or dirty socks laying around.

"So..we have a room for you but we didn't know what you like so we're gonna let you choose how to decorate and stuff." Luke said, stuffing his hands into his front pockets.

I was guided up the stairs and into a huge room. I looked around in awe, this room was massive.

"Thanks, but you guys don't need to spoil me." I said to the boys. The looked at me before pulling me in for a group hug.

"Welcome to the family!" They chorused, squeezing harder. I actually felt something I haven't felt in years. I felt at home.

"Are you hungry?" Michael asked me. I shook my head, but my grumbling stomach told him otherwise.

"Yeah." I said, and with that, he grabbed my hand and was pulling me down the stairs.

The other boys followed behind us, piling onto the couch.

"What about pizza for lunch?" He asked. I nodded and the boys whooped.

"What kind?" He asked, dialing on his cell phone.

"Four meat!"

"Pepperoni!"

"Cheese!"

"The food kind!"

We all turned to Calum and he shrugged.

After a good forty five minutes, all five pizzas arrived and we dug in. I have not had pizza in what felt like years.

"What movie should we watch?" Luke asked, scrolling through Netflix while we ate.

"I Am Number Four!"

"Mama!"

"Footloose!"

"Titanic!"

"Ashton, why would we watch Titanic?" Luke asked him.
