Chapter 17

Hey guys, I thought I'd update for my lovely readers :)sorry if it sucks...it's late here.

Bree's POV:

Flashback:

Today was my school's first dance and I was excited. I had a few dresses to choose from and a pair of brand new baby heels.

"This one?" I asked Sara, holding up a cotton candy pink dress. She snarled her nose.

I dropped that one and picked up a light blue one. She shook her head. I groaned before grabbing a yellow one.

"Goodness, are you trying to pick a dress for a dance or a halloween party?" She asked, invading my closest. I sat back as she looked through.

After a few minutes, she pulled out a cute white dress that had gray ribbon on it. I smiled and snatched it from her.

I held different dresses in my arms as I raced upstairs with Sara at my heels. We pulled off our outfits and began trying dresses on. Today, the boys had a dinner meeting they had to be at and of course Sara and I get to go.

After multiple dress switching, I decided on a light red dress with white TOMS. I curled my hair and brushed it out after, giving it a natural look. I added a small bit of eyeliner and clear lipgloss.

Sara decided on a knee length white ruffled dress with black VANS. She straightened her hair and pinned some of it back so it wasn't in her face. She had on some bright red lipstick and a dark layer of mascara and eyeliner.

We rushed downstairs to see all four boys standing by the door, looking dashing in their suits.

"You girls look beautiful." Ashton complimented, grabbing Sara's hand and spinning her around.

"And you boys look rather handsome." I said, admiring the boys until I seen Calum's messed up tie. I laughed before fixing it for him. He smiled sheepishly at me and I smiled back.

"Leggo!" Luke hollered, running out the door. We all followed, finding our spots in the car.

After an hour long drive, we stopped in front of a fancy restraunt. We all piled out and went inside, looking for some man we were meeting here.

"5 Seconds of Summer and others?" A woman asked, holding multiple menus. We all nodded and she led us to a table in the back.

"Ahh, there they are!" A man exclaimed, standing up and shaking the boy's hands.

"And who do we have here?" He asked, looking over at Sara and I. Sara let out a small wave and I smiled.

"This is Bree, and this is Sara. We adopted them a few months ago." Michael answered, putting an arm over both of our shouldes.

"Ahh, well..Sit! Sit!"

After a very boring conversation as we ate, the man-who's name I learned is Bill-announced something that I didn't expect.

"How would you boys like to sign with Hey or Hi Records?" He asked, smiling at the boys. All the boys looked at him shocked besides Calum, who was choking on his water.

Of course, the boys said yes. We headed home after that.

When we got home, Sara and I congratulated the guys before heading up to our room for the night. I crawled into bed after peeling off the dress.

I opened my phone to seen a message from Brent: Hey babe, is the dinner over??

Bree: Yeah, the boys got signed!!

Brent: Sweet!! I'm heading off to bed. See you at school tomorrow :*

Bree: Night cutie :*

I fell asleep with a smile on my face. My life was all going perfect, but who knew it would all come tumbling down within the next few days.
