John and Sherlock

The Detective and The Blogger pt4

  [I've been liking this au a bit too much so I'll be ending this au with a special occasion .If you haven't go watch the teaser trailer for Sherlock season four .It's worth the watch <3]

      Eight months later Sherlock has had the engagement ring for about two months now and he hasn't found the right time to ask John . Sherlock is at the lab with Molly with the ring box in his pocket . Molly  came in and said "so have you got the ring yet ?"  Sherlock is looking at his pocket and said "I had it for two months now and I still don't know how to ask John." Molly came by to Sherlock and said "ask him in a sweet way just when it's the two of you do it at night at dinner or at breakfast take him out or stay in and talk in leading up to it ." Sherlock said "why are you helping me ?" Molly said "well I care about you Sherlock I care that you are happy ." Sherlock said "thank you." Molly said "no problem."

  Later that night Sherlock is still in the lab sitting on the floor confused . John is at the flat and got  a call from Molly to go to get Sherlock .John came in and said "Sherlock what are you doing ?"

   Sherlock said "oh nothing I have been thinking .You've been worried ,worried about what ?" John said "it's the evening Sherlock and you didn't come home ." Sherlock said "so you met my parents ?" John is standing on the side of Sherlock and said "yes I love them they're just so welcoming with open arms ." Sherlock said "that's great John." John said "may I sit ?" Sherlock said "it's the floor so if you want yes ." John sat down next to him and said "so why haven't you been home yet ?" Sherlock said " I had to think ." John said "about what ?" Sherlock said "I have a thing in my pocket and I don't know how to bring it up in a conversation ." John put his head on Sherlock's shoulder and said "what's in your pocket ?" Sherlock and John are holding hands .Sherlock grabbed the small box out of his pants pocket and said "I had this for two months now and I know you don't want to rush but now eight months later I think we can work this out ." John looked at the box and said "what's in the box?" Sherlock handed the box to John and said "open it ."  John sat his exhausted head up and opened the box and said "SHERLOCK?" Sherlock looked down and said "I love you and I had Lestrade help me pick this out for you I don't know if this will fit or not ." John said "if you want to know ask me ." Sherlock said "can I see the ring ?" John handed the box to him and said "here." Sherlock is holding the ring and said "John H Watson." John said "it's Hamish ." Sherlock said "John Hamish Watson we've been through thick and thin I am not into these human intell but with you I feel like I  don't have to be I wanted to ask you in the greatest way possible I was wanting to have a romantic time asking you but this is how it's going I do love you so I will be more than glad to settle down with you so will you marry me?"  John said "it's about time Sherlock ." Sherlock said "So is this a yes ?" John smiled and said "yes it is ." Sherlock  smiled and put the ring on John's finger with no problem. John said "this fits perfectly ." John grabbed Sherlock's face and kissed him . John said "can we go home now ?" Sherlock said "And celebrate ?" John said "yes and celebrate." Sherlock got up and helped John up. John said "so when do you want to have this wedding ?" Sherlock said "but Hamish though ?" John said "oh shut up." They got home . Mrs. Hudson opened her door and said "hello boys ." John smiled and said "we're engaged !!" Mrs. Hudson said "congratulations ."  John said "thank you ." John ran upstairs . Mrs. Hudson said "Sherlock congratulations ." Sherlock said "thanks I finally asked ." John is at the door and said "Sherlock are you coming?" Sherlock said "yes." Mrs. Hudson said "goodnight Sherlock in the morning I'll bring up some tea ." Sherlock said "thanks "and went upstairs .

      Eleven months later Sherlock and John are almost done planning the wedding . Molly is there with her boyfriend Timothy. Greg and Mycroft are there . Greg said "so when is the big day ?" John said "next month ." Greg said "next month already ?" John said "in the church all my friends are coming  and I can't wait to see them." Greg said "so is it a big wedding or a small one ?" Sherlock said "in the middle ."  Molly said "John let's see the ring ." John showed Molly the ring . A month later the night before the wedding  Sherlock is at home and John is at the hotel for the night . John broke tradition and is calling Sherlock. Sherlock answered and said "hi John." John said "so you ready for tomorrow ?" Sherlock said "I am I am are you?" John said "yes I will be walking down the aisle to you I can't wait ." Sherlock got up and walked to his room and said "so at the reception ?" John said "I'm all yours ."  Sherlock said "see you tomorrow ." John said "see you tomorrow ." John hung up . The next morning Sherlock took a shower and is getting ready . They got to the church and Sherlock is at the altar awaiting John's arrival . After the church they all got to the reception .  Into the reception Sherlock stood up and said "John Watson in the years we got to know one another I have felt like you were a best friend and I never truly expected to be especially be your friend more than a husband and I am glad to say thank you John whatever life throws at us we'll be together through  it all as long as you want me to be I think we got this ." Everyone is tearing up . Sherlock said "why ,why are you all doing that did I say something I wasn't suppose to ,was that good ?" John got up and said "it was great Sherlock. Come here." John hugged Sherlock like in the picture below .

  Everyone is clapping . The photographer is taking all the photos . John stood back and said for only Sherlock to hear "that was beautiful Sherlock ." Sherlock smiled . It's time for to dance and Sherlock decided to play a piece on his violin for John. John is standing there talking with Greg smiling at Sherlock. Molly and Timothy are dancing together .After finishing the piece Sherlock came up to John. John said "that was amazing ." Sherlock kissed John and said "thanks ." John and Sherlock are dancing their first dance . They're dancing and John said "you know we could take a bottle of champagne right ."  Sherlock said "yes but we have a bottle at ,oh ." John smiled . Sherlock said "alright we have our honeymoon so ok." John kissed Sherlock as Sherlock bent John down . John smiled .
