John and Sherlock

The Reichenbach Fall Au

                                              [We all know how the story goes and if you are reading this and you haven't watched that certain episode yet then I am sorry for the spoiler . We all know how Sherlock had to fake his death from John because of Moriarty .Well this Au will be a twist on that version .]

The day of the fall Sherlock and Moriarty are on the roof together . Moriarty said "oh Sherlock I owe you I do I owe you a fall ,it's a great story actually ,falling is just like flying just with a more permanent destination ." Sherlock said "what makes you think I will do this ?" Moriarty spun around and said "that's the even better part you see if you don't all of your friends will die ." Sherlock said "John." Moriarty said "including John ,see I have men all on their post and if you don't go through with this one touch and John Watson is dead ,so no rushing Sherlock ." Sherlock said "you can't make me do this ." Moriarty grabbed his gun out and said "no you're right I can't make you but if you still want to keep house shaking with your John you better do it ." Sherlock said "We can figure something out ." Sherlock is close to the edge and Moriarty came closer to him and said "between me and you Sherlock there are two ways we can do this ,one you fall of this roof and die or I shoot you and you die ." Sherlock said "what ever happened to you ?" Moriarty spun around with the gun in his hand and said "nothing EVER happened to me Sherlock look I have somewhere to be so if you don't mind shake this up faster ." Sherlock is looking . Ten minutes passed and Moriarty said "Sherlock time is ticking ." Sherlock said "Shut Up ." Moriarty said "or what you're going to shoot me oh you don't have guts ." Sherlock said "I could and no one would ever care that you're gone ." A few minutes passed after that and next thing you knew Moriarty pulled the trigger on himself and is down on the roof bleeding to death. Sherlock wiped his face . John is in a frantic and is calling Sherlock while getting into a taxi. John said "Sherlock."  John got there and said "I'm right here talk to me ."  Sherlock said "you were wrong about Moriarty." John said "no Sherlock no ,I'm coming up there." Sherlock screamed "NO ,John can you just keep your eyes on me please can you just do that for me ." John  said "Sherlock let me come up there I'll do it with you we'll go out together ." Sherlock said "I can't let you do that ." John said "I'm not asking ."

    John ran up to the roof and threw his phone to the side and got up on the edge with Sherlock and said "I can't see life without you ." Sherlock said "John please don't do this." John said "then step do with me ."  Sherlock said "I can't do that John." John said "ok fine ." John is holding Sherlock's hand and said "on the count of three we'll go." Sherlock said "John."  John said "one last kiss ?" Sherlock said "yes ." They shared a passionate final kiss . Sherlock is ready and said "you need to stay here John ." Sherlock pushed John back onto the roof and jumped off . John ran up and is looking down and said "Sherlock ."  John grabbed his phone sent a text to Mycroft and said "Sherlock and I both jumped please send help." John jumped and fell on his face and died at the scene .  [Sherlock faked his death on this one because he thought John would listen and stay on the roof .] At the crime scene their hands are touching .   A few days later Sherlock is in the hospital resting and all he can think is if John was in the hospital room with him .[ like the pic below.]

    Mycroft came in and said "brother dear ." Sherlock woke up and said "you're not John?" Mycroft said "no I bought you a suit you have to get on for a thing in two hours ." Sherlock said "what ?" Mycroft said "John's funeral ." Sherlock tried to sit up and said "his funeral?"

   Mycroft said "that altercation you and Moriarty had a few days ago to where you jumped as a result to kill yourself John jumped after you ." Sherlock said "I told him not to ." Mycroft said "the doctor said you are good to go to the funeral but bring you back after ." Sherlock said "alright ." Mycroft said "I am sorry Sherlock."  Sherlock said "don't be it was my fault in the first place to get him involved I'm not going to the funeral  pay my respects though ." Mycroft said "Are you sure ?" Sherlock said "yes ." Mycroft left the suit and left for the funeral . Sherlock got ready for the funeral and is hiding behind a few places to see the people at the grave site .

   Two months pass by and it's been all over the papers of how the double suicide turned one happened in the case of the detective Sherlock Holmes .  [Creds to this amazing fanart that breaks my heart every time I see it <3]

Sherlock has been barricading himself in the flat with all the lights off . Greg is knocking on the door and said "Sherlock I know you're in there please open the door at least let me in you need to go out .." Sherlock said "please go away please ." Mrs. Hudson said "Sherlock please open the door for us ." Sherlock got up and went to the door and opened it . Greg said "Sherlock." Sherlock's eyes are all dried from crying . Sherlock managed to get a word out and said "what ?" Greg said "well it's been two months we  barely see you at Scotland Yard." Sherlock said "it's not the same without John."  Greg said "I know but you have to move on Sherlock maybe not right now but you have to move on ." Sherlock said "I loved him Gregory."  Greg said "well Sherlock." Sherlock said "Mrs. Hudson thank you for worrying about me ." Mrs. Hudson said "I'll be downstairs ." Greg shut the door after coming in and said "Sherlock you know I'm right even if you don't want to admit it ." Sherlock laid on the sofa and said "it's all my fault Gregory. "Gregory said "no it's not you pushed him back on the roof and you jumped he decided to jump after you did that ." Sherlock said "how do you know that ?" Greg said "I looked over the case ."  Sherlock said "tell me it wasn't my fault please ."  Greg sat next to Sherlock and put his arm around him and said "it wasn't your fault Sherlock trust me it wasn't ." Sherlock put his head on Greg's shoulder and said "I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him ."  Greg said "I'm so sorry Sherlock ."  Sherlock said "I guess it's fine I have to  move on  so I'm going to go to the bedroom and cry until I can't cry anymore ."  Greg said "Sherlock wait ." Sherlock lift his head up and said "what ?"
