    Sherlock is the father of Hamish they're at home eating dinner . Hamish said "do I have a mother ?" Sherlock dropped his fork and choked a little and said "excuse me ?" Hamish said "well I know how to create a kid a mum and a father I obviously have you what about a mum?" Sherlock said "Hamish I choose not to talk about that woman." Hamish said "Why do you call her that woman ,based on your stories about her you helped her out when she was in trouble ." Sherlock said "and your point is Hamish?"  Hamish said "I just want to know my mother ." Sherlock said "well she dropped you on my door step when she didn't want you so I doubt she wants to know you I'm sorry."  Hamish said "still I want to know her ." Sherlock said "fine I don't have her whereabouts ." Hamish said "fine." Sherlock said "fine look I'm going to uncle Mycroft's ." Hamish said "I'm going to hang out with a few friends then." Sherlock said "ok." Sherlock got to Mycroft's . Mycroft and Sherlock are talking . Sherlock said "he wants to know about Irene ." Mycroft said "Hamish can not Sherlock ." Sherlock said "tell him that she left him on my doorstep when she didn't want him now he wants to know his mum she left him ." Mycroft said "what do we do ." Greg said "that Adler woman is back?" Sherlock said "no Hamish her and my son wants to know her and I don't know what to do."  Greg said "let the boy meet his mum ." Sherlock said "thanks Greg ." Two days later Irene is calling Sherlock. Sherlock answered and said "yes?" Irene said "meet me at Mycroft's house ." Sherlock said "ok did you want me to bring our son with me or your mother part doesn't want to see your son?"  Irene said "sure." Sherlock hung up and said "Hamish?" Hamish came out of his room and said "yes father ?"  Sherlock said "Get ready we leave in ten minutes ." Hamish said "alright ?" Hamish went and got ready and they got to Mycroft's . Hamish said "why are we here ?" Sherlock said "a surprise ." They went in and Irene is in the parlor with Mycroft and Greg. Sherlock and Hamish came in . Sherlock said "Hamish we're not staying long ." Irene said "but I want to see my son I'm the child's mother ,I have the right to see my own son." Sherlock said "you can't choose when you want to see him and when you don't that's not how parenting works ,you left him on my doorstep without a word and now you want him." Irene said "Hamish ?" Hamish is standing there awkwardly and said "yes ma'am." Irene smiled and said "hi I'm your mum ." Hamish said "no you're not. " Sherlock said "Hamish." Hamish said "she's my mother ?" Sherlock said "yes  I've made mistakes and you are the proudest best one I made Hamish." Hamish said "I'm fifteen now I have great friends , a great life ,a great father ,great family ,uncle John and aunt Mary help me out a lot when dad is on a case and you say you're my mum ,you left me your son you're not my mother ,you might've given birth to me but you're not my mother ." Irene said "excuse me?" Hamish said "you left me mother ." Irene said "I'm back now ." Hamish said "for how long before you get caught this time ?" Irene said "you told him Sherlock?" Sherlock said "I told him stories about the one case we did together then where I saved you from being killed so yeah ."

    Irene said "Hamish you have no right to speak to me like that ." Hamish said "well father I'll be upstairs ." Sherlock said "ok." Hamish ran upstairs. Irene said "Holmes you can't do this ." Sherlock said "I'm not doing anything Irene  how about I get Hamish back down here and talk." Sherlock went upstairs to talk to Hamish . Sherlock said "she's your mother she wants to talk." Hamish said "Dad." Sherlock said "just talk with her so we so this will be over."  Hamish said "fine father." Hamish said "So are you and uncle John getting together to go on cases?" Sherlock said "I don't think so we both have kids to worry about ."  They went downstairs. Irene stood up and said "Hamish ...." Hamish sat down and said "why?" Irene said "I had to go back under cover and I couldn't stay here ."  Hamish  said "we could've hid you ." Irene said "I know you two would've but not for long I know ." Hamish said "so what do you want to say?" Irene said "So uncle John and aunt Mary huh I thought your father was with John?" Hamish said "no uncle John and aunt Mary have been together for ages now ." Irene looked up at Sherlock and said "so father Sherlock and uncle John didn't last."  Sherlock said "no there was never a start to it only friends." Irene said "how I call uncle Moriarty and we have a mother son day tomorrow ." Hamish said "I got school mum ." Irene said "right ,right ." Hamish said "so." Irene said "I am sorry for leaving you ." Hamish said "it's fine dad and I have been getting along everyday so I like it ." Irene said "I'm glad ." Hamish said "goodbye mother ." Irene hugged Hamish and said "just call anytime your father has my number ." Hamish said "dad may  I go to my friends ?" Sherlock said "yes go for it ." Hamish left . Sherlock said "leave him alone you can't choose when you want to be a mum." Irene said "fine ." Irene later left. Greg sat up on the couch and said "wow ,never thought to see the day but weren't you and John something before the whole faking your death ?"  Sherlock said "yes but it wasn't a fall ." Greg laughed and said "I see what you did there." Sherlock said "Hamish is a great kid but Irene ."  Greg said "we all have crazy kid mum's but Irene is a whole new level ,you and her could've had a family if she was with it but she broke your heart ." Sherlock said "I'm going home ." Sherlock got home to hear someone crying . Sherlock is knocking on Hamish's door and said "Hamish ?" No answer and Sherlock went to his room and found John.
