The ceremony began shortly.

"Repeat after me." Kingsley said as he initiated the official ceremony.

"I.. Draco Lucius Malfoy.. take Hermione Jean Granger to be my lawfully wedded wife... I shall hold her in sickness and in health.. For rich or poor.. For happiness and in sorrow." Draco recited after Kingsley. Now it was Hermione's turn.

"I.. Hermione Jean Granger.. take Draco Lucius Malfoy to be my lawfully wedded husband.. I shall hold him in sickness and in health.. For rich or poor.. For happiness and in sorrow." She recited.

Now it was time for their own vows to be taken. Harry and Ginny both handed over the rings to the couple before they began with the vows.

It was Draco who wanted to take his vows first and hence she agreed to let him

"Hermione, you changed me. You were there when I needed arms to comfort me, you were there to heal me and you were there to love me. In you, I found faith and true love. In your eyes, I found home. You saved me from my demons that were eating me up after the war. You accepted me after all the evil things I have done, after all the painful words I've said. Today, I am standing here to make you my wife. Spending the rest of my life with you is my idea of a perfect life. Never did I ever think that I would meet someone that I could connect with and love in every possible way. It seemed non-existent to me until the day I met you. I am only yours until the day I die and even in the after life. My love for you is permanent and unbreakable, don't you dare doubt that for a split second.
So, Hermione Jean Granger, my fiancée, my beaver, the know-it-all bookworm, the brightest witch of the age, wear this ring as a sign of my love and loyalty to you." Draco finished his monologue and gently slid the ring on Hermione's left hand's ring finger beside her engagement ring.
Hermione tears were flowing freely but her makeup wasn't smudged, thanks to her no smudge charm. He, too, subtly wiped his own eyes. The crowd cheered loudly for the couple.

Now it was Hermione's turn.

"Draco, you have always openly expressed your feelings, but today I want to take a few minutes to say everything I have on my mind as I just couldn't gather the courage to say it out loud earlier.
You know Draco, there are 1,013,913 words in the English language, but I could never string any of them together to describe how much I love you." She said and smiled. Draco laughed.

"Bookworm!" He said and the entire ballroom rang with laughter. She ignored his comment and continued as the room silenced.

"My love for you is as deep and unfathomable as the oceans, my faith in you is as vast as the universe and my trust in you is as strong as a diamond.
Your smile is the most beautiful curve I want to see all my life and I would want to be the reason behind your smile as that pretty curve sets my life straight.
You are the sunshine on a rainy day, you are the light of my darkness and you are the only source of comfort in my pain. No medicine will work its magic on me if you aren't with me during my ailments.
You are the only star that twinkles and illuminates my life and I find solace when you flash your stunning smile which is like the brightest star in my sky, be it day or night.
It feels so surreal to stand here in front of you, holding your hand and expressing my feelings for you on our wedding day. There was a time when I had completely lost faith and all hope seemed to be dumped out of the window. I was really lost, I felt defeated and I was having a hard time trying to accept the fact that I had only a few days to be with you. I hated myself in that moment so much that I was almost on the verge of taking my own life. I couldn't see you in pain because of me. I was only faking my calm exterior just so you don't freak out.

The blissful feeling a girl gets is when her prince charming sweeps her off her feet with a love so strong and real.

Never did it even cross my mind the my platinum blond haired prince charming will be the perfect knight in shining armour.
You always showered copious amount of love on me, made me feel exuberant. You gave me my dream fairy tale story.
You are the man of my dreams and the only one for me. You are the man I want to be the father of my children. I promise to be the best wife and I promise to never let you down.
I, Hermione Jean Granger, vow to never let go of your hand in times of doubts, to cherish you and stay by your side as your confidante, your personal cheerleader, your lover and your wife.
So, Draco Lucius Malfoy, my fiancé, my ferret, my hunk Slytherin Prince, my favourite Seeker, my one and only love, wear this ring as a sign of my love and loyalty to you." Hermione ended her extra long speech, sobbing and stuttering upon words, her trembling lips were betraying her to keep her sobs muffled.
She looked into Draco's grey eyes and found that he had cried as well.
