Megan was so happy since she felt that there's something she could work on with Issac. That day, Issac and Megan kept exchanging looks the whole day like they were afraid the world would find out about their plans if they neglect each other.
"What should we start with?" Megan asked as soon as they finished their work time.
"We?"He laughed. "You should just let me work, Megan." Saying her name made her heart skip a beat, happily.
"But we are in this together!" Megan looked deeply at his eyes. They were sparkling a little despite everything. It seems that nothing would darken the natural spark of them.
He just smiled but his smile vanished instantly because thoughts and plans have always been chasing his smiles for years. He started to break down a little and she sensed it.
"Spill." she simply nodded. Megan understood him perfectly that she knew what he would expect. She knew that he would never want her to look at him sympathetically or give him a hand squeeze because he always wants to look strong. Megan didn't understand him because she was smart, but she saw parts of her in him.
"I don't know anything about you. I'm never used to this but here I am, spilling my darkest secrets to someone I first talked to durnig a guns fight."
"Actually it wasn't a fight." She laughed before realising it was something he was too dignified to admit.
"I'm running out of time, Megan." He covered his face with his hands as if to hide his weakness.
"You told me there's a deadline." She swallowed thinking about the danger they are talking about.
"A month."He shook his head slowly. "I've got a month to find this damn medicine."
"Hey!" She said nicely."I'm here with you." She blushed after repeating the phrase in her mind. It came out a way she didn't mean. Damn! I should slap myself for that!
He smiled at her.

"Please, hold on." Megan said with tears to her grandmother while the doctor was examining her.
She couldn't fight the pain. Imagine someone's cells are getting killed slowly!
"You don't have to worry, Miss Foster." Doctor Edgar said while zipping his bag . "She probably missed her dose"He shot her a blaming glance and smiled nicely "or skipped it."
"You should take care of that." He turned to Megan.

"Where have you been after work?" Sasha asked as soon as Megan has settled in her seat at work."Yesterday?"
"Yeah!"
"Nowhere" Megan shrugged.
"You could have told me so if Kate didn't see you with Issac."
"What's the problem about that?" Megan asked defiantly.
"I'm not the one lying about it."
"Well, we're working together on something."
"You should have told me, Megan"
Megan just left. She headed towards the toilets. She felt the sudden urge to get away, probably to let herself cry freely.
She was so caught up with Issac that she forgot about her grandmother's medicines, her best friend's feelings and got herself into troubles by being exposed to his worst secrets.
Everything went wrong
