Megan didn't say a word about what happened that day. Thanks to the media and papers, Megan didn't need to say anything.

Megan told her grandmother that she wasn't at the company at the time. But the lie failed to enter her
grandmother's head completely when the investigators knocked their door the following day.

Megan belived that lying would just increase the suspicions around her, she never mentioned anything about the conversation she heard, though. She left that investigation to herself.

Sasha blew Megan's phone that day because she knew that Megan wasn't back home at the time. If Sasha knew something like that, it means that the whole world knew it as well, including Kate, who isn't on very good terms with Megan, since she believes Megan stole her position in the company.

"No living criminal on earth dared to let this company be his target. Not to point fingers but I don't believe they were really interested in the papers they took. They were completely unrelated and ..no just no. It's obvious." Megan overheard Dr.Gordon shouting on the phone in his office. She wished she could ask who he was talking to but she guessed he wouldn't be really pleased with that question. The next day at work was rather different, Megan had to say. She felt like a huge spotlight was was directed at her. She was always used to spotlight, since her guts has always been remarkable among her colleagues anywhere.

Issac was apparently banned from staying late at night, his increase of speed and interest in front of his laptop was noticed by no one but Megan. She didn't avoid eye contact, though. She would always shoot him blaming and disapproving glares. Sometimes, when the accidnet is mentioned, her looks tend to be more friendly, kind of I-got-your-back looks.

As soon as Issac got out of the company-on time as he was ordered - Megan followed him but there was no response until she called after him. She expected him to ignore her, but he didn't. He just faced her and instantly carried on walking, she understood it was kind of a permission to let her speed up and follow him. Even in such small situations, he didn't want to be easygoing.

"I think I should understand everything now." Megan insisted with a challenging tone, something that wasn't suitable with someone like Issac.

"Why should you?"

"Because.." She allowed herself to think for a second. "I've become involved in this."

He felt angry yet broken. She has kept a secret and there's no way out of admitting that she's become involved in this. He's not used to someome helping him.

"Look!" He inhaled deeply, preparing himself for what he's got to say. "These guys aren't some bank robbers or midnight thieves that you would like to hear about." He suddenly stopped walking, and she did the same, before pointing his forefinger at her "You don't have to think that you are brave enough to hear about that or to even ask about it. So, try something that would leave you thankful your whole life, mind your own business. Forget about that night, about those you saw and know that this particular thing-" He started moving his forefinger at her threateningly now "is out of your curiosity area." That young man! How rude he is!!

"And what's that major difference that made you so braver than me?"She crossed her arms and tried to keep her cool. " What's the qualifications that provided you with the thought of being braver and wiser than me? Who told you I'm not brave enough for this, may I ask?"

" I got myself into this because I am the one who dealt with these guys. I'm the one who is responsible for that, I know what you don't know and what I know you don't like to know." He waited for a moment, giving her the chance to make sense out of his last words. "For your own safety, get out of this."

"What if I could help you?" She mentally slapped herself for saying that, it came out in a sympathetic way that she totally didn't intend.

"I'd give you a call."

"Is that your answer?" She glared at him but his masculine face didn't change a bit. His jawline was rather firm , indicating that he clenched his teeth impatiently.

"Yes?"
